Madrid don't want Suarez, Suarez wants Madrid. Madrid want Bale and any money they make off sales will go to their pursuit of Bale.

Still every chance he could stay at Liverpool if there is no clause.

They need someone to play on the wing when Di Maria leaves, Benzema is good enough as a striker.

----------

Suarez won't be a Liverpool player any more. He looked extremely disinterested against Melbourne Victory, if he stays he'll play badly and decrease his value further, not exactly what Liverpool want. Best cash in on him now.

If Suarez leave Liverpool then they will be lacking a striker and as Suarez wants Real so why don't they just trade Benzema with Suarez ? :spy

Ozil can play as a winger and he has played as a winger . Isco will be CAM then .

Di Maria isn't leaving though, at least not this season, and Benzema might be good, but he's no Messi or Cristiano when it comes to fitness... and this is Real we're talking about here, they're all about depth and one out always means one in for that said position.

Benzema has to agree to the move as well, and something tells me he won't... :rolleyes and Isco at this point is just a very good replacement for Callejon, god I hate Real Madrid. :p

Benzema has to agree to the move, fees have to be agreed, and more. Often unless two players have the same agent swaps don't happen.

The only two high-profile swap deals I remember from recent seasons would be Cole for Gallas and Ibrahimovic for Eto'o. Shows how rare they are.

We'll see, I was under the impression that Real Madrid have been trying to get rid of Di Maria the whole window.

Ronaldo could always move into the middle as well, he is the focal point of their attack and could drift in from the left as a bit of a false 9. I don't see Madrid signing both Bale and Suarez, hell either of them. Let's not forget even after Higuain is sold, they'll have no money left after blowing it all on Isco and Illaramendi. This in addition to the smaller fees for Carvajal and Casemiro.

They have Morata as well but I'm not sure they see him as good enough just yet to be more than 3rd choice.

Didn't watch our game, but seen many of them saying this, so I think you might be right on this one. Also with us apparently having a 22ME bid rejected for Soldado yesterday, I was thinking:

Offload Suarez to a club outside England for 50ME, sign Soldado (30ME release clause) and Eriksen (21ME, player wants Liverpool move)?

In the meantime, Felliani's clause is coming to an end - sign him up, Moyes! Are there any better options to go for as far as a defensive midfielder goes?

I'd like to think Fellaini to United is on the cards. Unless Moyes wants to keep his promise of not raiding Everton of their best players (Baines bid suggests otherwise). Baines and Fellaini should definitely be wearing red by august if everything goes right.

A part of rushing to sign fabregas might be because united are monitoring Fellaini's clause. I'm just saying.

Fellaini could nearly complete the midfield puzzle. United have been a tracking team since Ronaldo left. Possession's not been United's main strength and somehow Sir alex prompted a response from the defence all these years to tackle that problem. Fellaini can play behind the striker, boss the midfield and in his own words, play in the key defensive midfield role that Carrick has held for these many years. 23m is a bargain if you consider the alternatives to him, and the bonus being his premier league experience.

With Di Maria it's more a case of them making space for Bale's transfer/potential transfer rather than it is to get rid of Di Maria, if that makes sense... and Cristiano through the middle is interesting, but would he want that? Because surely if he did it would've happened by now.

Exactly; Felliani is what we need, more than Fabregas but if we were to get both, what an F-Force midfield that would be! As you said, Felliani can boss the midfield; since Keane's departure we haven't really had a player who can do that. Keane departed a very long time ago. Felliani is big, strong, he's an aerial threat and can play in several different positions. He would be a great signing for Utd and I really hope it happens. Moyes needs to get a move on though - I believe Felliani's clause ends this week. Don't get Fabregas tunnel vision, Moyes - fill the gap that Sir Alex, legend that he was, failed to fill.

I believe we already have Anderson. He's underrated; People are still quick to write him off. I don't see why. He's had terrible moments at United but he kept improving. He could make amazing passes through any midfield on his day, so to speak of the tunnel vision fabregas is famous for. If not for his injuries and other concerns, he's a first team material. I hope he gets a revival under Moyes, and the pre season has looked good for him after all.
