Football Transfers Thread

Ha in these hard financial times throughout Europe (especially in Spain) when these kind of money gets mooted or even offered, football really in a different world right now...smh

Nah, Anderson has had his chances and blown them. He'll never be anything more than a squad player.

If Moyes does get Anderson fully fit and able to play 35-40 games this season, he should get his own statue outside Old Trafford.

Man Utd should have sold Anderson two season really. As i believed you correctly mentioned earlier in this thread, a good brazilian buy that really possible for Utd is Gustavo from Bayern.

Pretty certain Bale will end up at united eventually tbh, he's probably flattered by the madrid offer but I think he knows that's where he'd flourish.

Surely Spurs would be more likely to sell him to Madrid, instead of massively strengthening a domestic rival? Of course, I'd love to see Bale at Utd: Giggs retires soon, so we need another young Welsh wing wizard. :D

Let's not spread rumours , said no website . :rolleyes

i retract my following bluster, real madrid look a lot more determined than i thought.

madrid also putting di maria and contreao on the table, tbh, spurs don't really need either of them so I'd like to see them try and stand up to madrid a bit. If madrid want him ?80m bad then I think spurs are within their rights to ask for ozil or benzema, two players, either of which would turn them into an infinitely better side and fit the premiership more.

of course, whether either would be up for the move is another matter but if madrid are talking funny money spurs should try and capitalise a bit on madrid showing how desperate they are.

Apparently Moyes might make one last bid for Cesc - ?35m - and if that doesn't work, switch targets to Modric. Good call, Moyes.

Modric is very much attainable. Quite overrated though IMO.

He is a bit overrated, but he's a proven Premiership player and will fill our need for an attacking midfielder.

Still no news about Felliani/another defensive midfielder.

Maybe we should bid for Ozil instead of Modric...

Yeah and Modric has only recently started making his way into the Real first team. It would be silly to give up now, like Fabregas would be silly to give up now.
