I'd love that to happen, but I can't see it myself.

Also, why is Moyes sniffing around Pogba? No way in hell is he going to return to Utd after the way he left!

We have to accept some rumours are simply not true & in some cases are just disrespectful to the intelligence of the average fan.

Sports media is at an all-time low....you really can't tell the difference sometimes between the supposed proper media & the tabloids..

There's more chance of The Second Coming...

Talks between Manchester United and Chelsea over Juan Mata 'going well' | Football News | Sky Sports

Moyes will have to completely abandon his current system and play a 4-3-1-2 to fit Mata, Rooney & RvP in their best positions.

Would be a huge confidence boosting signing regardless (much like Ozil), directly mentally affecting the likes of Liverpool, Everton & Spurs in the race for that lucrative fourth spot. As well as Arsenal & City to an extent, who United are yet play second time around, wherein they could be doing Chelsea (who they're already done versing home and away) a massive favor wrt their title hopes.

Moyes certainly seems to share alex fergusons love of buying central attacking midfielders despite not really wanting to play with them.

seeing as kagawa has spent most of the year playing out wide instead of his favoured central position why is he bringing in another player to compete for a position that doesn't exist at united?

Well yea if you put it that way - it sort of makes sense from a tactical point of view for United and business sense for Chelsea. But i remain skeptical given the garbage that gets put out as transfer truths by the so called "main-stream media".

If this deal does happen, he might need two new full-backs to operate in this 4-3-1-2 system & a new central mid-fielder, that is naturally left-footed.

True, but this is from Sky Sports who are usually very reliable. Great signing for us if it happens; so what if we have to change the system? That might even help things...

I just can't see Mata going to United. I understand that it's a world cup year and all that but come on why join a team in decline? He should stay at Chelsea or if he's desperate to move look elsewhere.

We're only in decline because we need new players and the manager needs to settle in. While a lot of people might want us to do a Leeds, one decent transfer window and we'll be back where we belong.
