Well to compare Zapata and Rami in terms of their La Liga careers at the very least, Zapata was absolutely horrible in his last season at Villareal, one of the reasons they got relegated. Rami has always been quite solid for Valencia, barring maybe his final six months or so. I think he just needs time to adjust, both to the team and to not playing.
Honda is top quality - I consider him the best Asian footballer by a distance.

Fiorentina and Manchester United still negotiating over Anderson - ESPN FC
If United are seriously selling him to Fiorentina, they should seriously look into getting Cuadrado if its possible. As mentioned before, they need a potent goal-scoring winger arguably as much as a mid-fielder.

McGeady at ?2m is a fine coup for Everton. Perfect backup for Mirallas.
Need a backup AM for Barkley though, unless of course Osman/Mirallas can do a job there. Really wouldn't fix something that isn't broken though, which's Mirallas on the right.

Osman has been understoody to Barkley all season and done okay most of the time (starting against sunderland aside)

Mirallas can play as a striker. He put up insane numbers in Greece playing there. When we were linked to him that's where most Arsenal fans expected him to play.
Outside of him, I think Everton could use a pacey young striker, a bit like Lukaku. Michy Batshuayi from Standard Liege immediately comes to mind, and after seeing how Lukaku and Benteke have done, could be a great signing for less than ?5 m...

yeh I don't think we need that much this window, really. We have to plan for future.
In the summer our strikerforce will be Kone, Vellios, Gueye, Mirallas and Naismith.
3 of those are wide players more than strikers, of the other 2 one may not even be a premier leauge standard player ever let alone next year. The other simply isn't good enough to be first choice for a side with top ten ambitions. So there is a gap there for a really good striker. Probably two.
I haven't seen Batshuayi play, but he has a decent enough scoring record and seems like he would be a good signing. Will he be good enough to lead the line next August? Probably not, even if he has the talent to so in the future.
So we probably need someone else on top of that. But for this window if we sign him, we can get by with him, lukaku, mirallas until the summer.
