To the bolded saha bit, depends wether you bring in an out and out striker.

To the underlined striker bit you just need another striker but torres is too quality for you.

And to the underlined bit about Hienze, give him one more season and see how he does.

Saha has come on leaps and bounds since moving to Old Trafford. He's been injury prone, that's all. But when he's fit, he doesn't let us down.

Man Utd are one of the biggest clubs in the world, Torres would probably jump at the chance to put on the shirt.

As for Heinze, he is a good, versatile defender who can play full back or center half. Selling him would weaken the squad. What we really need to buy is a decent holding midfield player, a midfield general in the mould of Keane and Viera. If Viera isn't happy in Italy (hopefully that's the case) then we should try to sign him again. We need a hardman in the midfield, maybe we could go for Gattuso? He's said in the past that he'd like to play for Man Utd.

As for Rooney, he's being played out of position (and still scoring quite a few goals!). He is no winger! He needs to play just off the front striker, so he can make those excellent runs from deep that he terrorized Euro 2004 with!
I can understand Steve McDonut playing him there, but not Sir Alex! Play him where he's best, Sir Alex! Just off the front man! Then watch him go...

Torres is a class player,he's always going to look worse at Athletico but if hes getting the chances united create he'll get loads more goals and a lot of his price will be to do with his age,he has bags of potential

Exactly. He's still young and is therefore worth the extra money. That's probably why Carrick cost so much, he's young, too and will improve a lot in the years to come.

However he isnt the kind of guy who just relies on others putting in good crosses for him to finish, but someone who can make runs himself and create chances for others. Anyone who saw his goals against Getafe last weekend will know what I'm saying.

However I think his style of play is suited to Spain more and for his sake I hope he doesnt leave La Liga.

This is mainly to Australian fans but John Alosi is close to signing a deal with Sydney FC. After declining the Queensland Roar for money reasons it is believed Sydney can offer him alot more. Also Sydney are in negotiation talks with Philip Cocu the dutch legend. It would be amazing if he could com to the A-League.

I think then Torres will be suited to Arsenals style of play but No Wenger is a greedy b*****d who cant spend more than 10 mil on a player and just wants to sign one player in the window... FOr god sake get some decent players rather than playin some under 18s all time and hoping you would win something... I would think its more along the lines of Arsenal cant afford to pay big money. Its a business you know, Wenger doesn't get to keep any money he doesnt spend. its all very well for certain clubs to just go and spend big money on big players as long as they can afford to do so. Do you really want Arsenal to end up as another Leeds United?

I don't see how Wenger can be greedy and not pay over £10 million for someone. That's a total contradiction.
Wenger is trying to build a young side that can be successful for 5-10 years at Arsenal.
