I would be far happier if we managed to get Bent.Ribery would be great,but we need a 'Fox in the box'.A goal scorer.Bent is more likely to give us that than Ribery.With the service we give him,he could run riot...

Bent, i dont rate him.. he is quite over-rated and being English he is priced at like over 10 million. He isnt even that good a finisher. If we want a goal poacher, we want to look at someone like van tapinroy...

Our style of play isnt like that anyway. We play short football so i doubt he will be effective.Ribery would give us pace and wide option.I think he would work very well

Bents got pace, i think he might fit in at Arsenal quite well but I don't think he's done enough to merit a place at one of the big clubs yet.

As for Hargreaves, inevitable but it still feels good no more Fletcher, Scholes and Giggs getting phased out then, Giggs hasn't been at his best for the last third of the season anyway, tired legs all we need know is too chuck a defender or 2 sign Bale and possibly a centre back,get a quality striker and possibly a back-up one as well,someone like Nugent and sell Saha. Not asking for much am I?

If Robben is leaving, we should try to sign him. He was going to come to Man Utd originally anyway before Chelski stuck their noses in. Robben on one wing, Ronaldo on the other.... :upray

Great news about Hargreaves! An excellent, versatile player who is good going forward as well as in defence. Does anyone know the transfer fee?

Sidwell is reportedly coming to Chelsea, but my worry is that Terry, Lamps, and Robben don't leave us, than I'll look at the market, and what we can get.

Sidwell's a central midfielder

Heinze's not been the same since he got injured towards the end of his debut season. He was immense in that season, but towards the end of this season has been in awful form.

I dont think 17 million was too bad for Hargreaves tbh, I heard about 25 million a couple of months back so 17 is good.
