Heinze's not been the same since he got injured towards the end of his debut season. He was immense in that season, but towards the end of this season has been in awful form.

I dont think 17 million was too bad for Hargreaves tbh, I heard about 25 million a couple of months back so 17 is good.

I think 17 is fair enough considering how important a player he was to Bayern. He would have definately costed more had Bayern not failed to qualify for next season's Champions League.

And yes Sidwell plays in midfield.

Timo Hildebrand will be leaving newly crowned German champions Vfb Stuttgart for Valencia on a free transfer. He declined a contract extension during the season in order to play overseas.

Timo has been at the club since he was 16 and has developed into the fine goalkeeper he his today. 5 caps for Germany and will replace Lehmann when he retires.

Timo will be missed but I wish him well in Spain. I look forward to seeing him play against Real.

Stuttgart have already signed a replacement in Raphael Schafer of FC Nurnberg for £2m.

What! Kieran Richardson is one of the worst players ever to wear the United shirt. He is awful! And to correct you, Richardson plays left back, Fletcher plays in midfield.

On the topic of Fletcher its a difficult one. A couple of months back I thought he was as bad as Richardson. However, he's had some big performances in big games towards the end of the season, ie. Milan (Home). Therefore I think we should give him another season to further prove his worth.

Thing is Fletcher tries and works hard but clearly lacks the talent. While Richardson is plain useless.

Wenger is considering buying Michael Owen as Newcastle probably can't afford him. Speculation though is that if Owen comes to Arsenal this could be the door for Henry to leave Spain bouned. I hope that both of them could play at Arsenal though. But then he would have alot of strikers in the team.

i am sure its just some Bull! Owen is no where near Henry's standard or a replacement for him. He's just good enough for Newcastle, we arent having any Geordies

Sidwell is just stupid. What makes him think he can outplay Lampard,Ballack,Cole,Essien and several others in midfield to get a place in first team..

Owens way too big a risk with his injurys, if he is fit then h's a guaranteed goal scorer who would play well alongside Henry,have them both. If they want to be contiually successful then they at some point are going to have to buy big name players,you can't rely purely on scouts and your academy. Still I'm not sure Owen is the one to take a risk on.
