Football Transfers Thread

Reportedly Man U have 50 Million to spend this summer, Arsenal have 20 Million. So there will be some big buys in the market.

Well unless we come up with a villainous Russian to fund us,we won't get immediate success. No such thing in the real world. We are going to have to work for it.C'mon you Gunners!Lets get some good buys in the Transfer Window Mr. Wenger.

yes another couple of Rosicky/Adebayor type buys please.. Chelsea are just buying everything, they dont have any skill really Oops they cant even buy the title anymore

Seriously thats coming from a team that was 3rd, oh wait you were 4th. Barca are going crazy in the market.

If Eto'o was bought by Chelsea i think he would probably turn out like Shevchenko as he would not adapt to the english game easy.

You could always go down the American Football Team owners route too you know :p

Is it just me or is listening to transfer rumours even less pointless these days than it has been in the past? Almost every big name player in the world is being linked to Man Utd, Chelsea or Liverpool at the moment and most are linked with all three! Then there's Arsenal, Spurs and a whole host of clubs being linked to half the players as well.

Eto'o is faster than Sheva but off-late his finishing has been awful. Besides Eto'o isnt very physical and could tend to struggle in England. But he can compensate for all of that with his pace and runs.

Henry wont be leaving.. he cant now after signing that huge contract last season... Eto is class player and his pace can help him in Prem easily

Eto'o straight swap for Henry to Arsenal lol. Nar i hope Henry stays but watching him this year i felt that he wasn't enjoying his football. If he stays hopefully we can play the type of football that Henry is accustomed to. This year we just brand the ball into the box and passed it around too much. We need to give the strikers room.

Heres anupdate on the Ribery deal. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx...id=2&title=Gunners+get+first+option+on+Ribery

Hmm,well Henry won't leave and i beleive that any 'Unhappyness' seen would most likely stem from the fact he only layed a handful of games this season WITHOUT injury.
