The only reason why you wouldnt consider signing Owen would be his injury problems. He is a proven goalscorer and one of the finest in the game when fully fit.

Sidwell to chelsea confimed today,passed his medical so come July 1st he will be a Chelsea player http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/chelsea/6681893.stm If he couldn't make it at Arsenal can he at Chelsea? i guess he is English though

well Sidwell was a poor player for us, Meh its just shows the quality of our team. Sidwell and Pennant arnt good enough for Arsenal but for Chelsea

just a note sidwell will play in jan-mar cause afro nations cup. also lampard can buy out his contract this summer and on the contrary to what he said i wouldnt be suprised if he moved.

Thats a bit harsh on poor Kieran isn't it? He can play some good football, he has some good pace. He can play down the wing and push forward a bit, so thats why I said he could play midfield. And he does normally play in the midfield anyways, like earlier in the season he was, but then when every Man U defender was on crutches and stuff he was made to play on that left-back-ish-wing position (the Patrick Evra type-role).
Yeah one more season for Fletchy, maybe a loan so he can get a season of 1st XI football.

Sachin now you're just being an idiot. You talk about Rooney being overhyped,Fabregas has barely scored all year. They are 2 very different players so you shouldn't compare them but Rooneys done far more in his career than Fabregas.
How old was Sidwell when he played for you? 20?
:He gives the ball away far too much. He has the very, very odd game where he scores a goal and does OK, but seriously, he is awful.
Fabregas isn't better than Rooney. Fabregas didn't score a Premiership goal till March this year. He's got a good pass on him, but Rooney has a mighty shot on him. Rooney showed on Saturday that he can dribble past a player with ease.
