OMG there is no rule that if you are one of the top 4 EPL teams that you MUST have english players. Its not our fault that there arnt any Quality English players to sign and they cost more than anything anyway so just waste of money really

On the 3rd July 2007, FIFA Agent Ernesto Bronzetti revealed that AS Roma and Spanish club Real Madrid had agreed a fee of 18 million Euros for Chivu.

Then Houllier came along and thought it would be good to by Diouf for 10 million, Heskey for 12 mill and Cheyrou for 4 million

1. How come James Beattie has gone down hill so far down hill...hes know been signed by West Brom, he was once a very promising talent, when at Southampton.

No they don't. And Gabriel wasn't a central defender. He is a Left-Backman. I reckon we have enough midfielders now with Carrick, Hargreaves, Anderson, Fletcher.

Gabby could fill in very effectively at centre half, I reckon we need more cover in defense. Also I think we could do with someone up front so that Rooney can play in his best position (just behind the striker).

Thats two good defenders now we've signed. It was very unlike of Real Madrid to make two defensive signings especially after sacking a manager for being too defensive. But now with Chivu in the side, we dont need to worry about losing Cannavaro.

I think there has been a mistake here because this was up on wikipedia last night and usually everything up there is correct but right now they have removed Chivu from the transfers list of Real Madrid :.
