Mangala : I would prefer Chelsea over City
Obviously Chelsea are pretty well set at centre back, so don't take this as the start of a Mangala-to-Chelsea rumour, but it's nice to know that even if City manage to sign the man who I think is their top priority this summer (and I'd be slightly surprised if a deal got done with the FFP settlement now in force) he'd still rather have joined us. But I feel paying 40M for a defender who is still unproven at the highest level is a slight risk. He was not-so-good in some of the European matches. And at 40M you can get almost any defender, including the likes of Varane , Hummels et al.
City or Chelsea? Chelsea because it is London.
True , I'd love to see King Didier back , but where would he fit as a player? Chelsea will most likely get a top class striker and Lukaku would return. I am not sure if anybody wants to buy Torres given his wage demands , so that automatically makes him Chelsea's third choice. Judging by Drogba's interviews , he still wants to play regularly. Will he be happy to be Chelsea's fourth choice? I am not sure about it. I would love him to take up a role like Giggs , i.e , a player-coach.
I've not been to either Manchester or London , but I guess London has better climate? It is because I have read/heard that Manchester is very rainy.
Can't see us letting him leave this summer because that would just cause unnecessary problems in our attempt to meet the homegrown rule, and the limit on our transfer spending is completely unaffected by money that comes from the sale of players, we can only spend ?60m, whether or not we sell players.

I grew up in Manchester & its an solid 1st world city with its night life etc, but nothing spectacular. Best thing about the city is sports culture - otherwise it can get a bit dull, since its not as multi-ethnic like London.
But thankfully, its a labour government district (the UK version of the USA democrats).
When Ronaldo left United, I used to always say if Manchester was more like London he might have stayed ha...
It's just weird that for a country like England, there's only one of these cities like London.
Maybe if United were in London it would've kept him there a little longer, but I think he was always eventually going to end up at Real Madrid, the sort of mystique that club holds is just out of this world, the all whites, the whole deal, I can't almighty tweaking stand them and even I get it.
