AMA FP's AMA

Just checking this thread. Drifted a bit recently but will let it pass this time..

Doesn't mod police mean you police mods? My name isnt in blue, therefore I wonder if there are jurisdiction issues here (said with tongue firmly in cheek! :))

So when do you think you will reach complete happiness.
Probably when I realise the kids have turned out all right and are capable of functioning without me. In a sense they our my legacy on this earth. I don't think I'll ever wrote to book, direct the move, make the discovery etc that will leave a lasting legacy, I can by raising the kids right.

The day in the live of a professional umpire? What do you do when you are not officiating a game?

Hoping to be a professional umpire, not quite there yet. Although I take it seriously. Were in the tailend of the off season here. Running every day. HIIT every second day. Read 4 laws in depth every day and browse the rest. Last week I marked up half a pitch in the backyard and working on positioning and about to do laws studies formally.

Teams aren't quite back yet for training proper but when that happens I do net sessions with the teams to get my eye in, build relationships etc.

SO what is the most annoying thing they do?

Oh kids are annoying, anyone that tells you otherwise is lying IMO. Mine are 4 and 2 so at a great annoying age. My 4yo is in kindergarten so that tires her out but also means shes socialising with other kids more and picking up habits.

The 2yo isn't picking up words so has this high pitched shriek going on which is annoying.

The 4yo is starting to get fussy with food too.

Give me one bloody good reason why I shouldn't ban you and lock every single annoying AMA thread. Make my life so much easier...

You've gained an insite into everyone much more in the last week than the 3 line posts that dominate the forum and give you nothing :)

Also, ask juicy questions and build a blackmail file...

What is the best thing they do?

The oldest questions everything. It's a normal toddler/preschool thing but it's great.

The two year old is literally trying to become Dora. She love the show, tries to jump into the TV. We took them to the botanic gardens with a huge multilevel conservatory for rainforest stuff and she was instantly in her element. It's awesome.

What books on your shelf are begging to be read.

What do you do if you can’t sleep at night? Do you count sheep? Toss and Turn? Try to get up and do something productive.

When making an entrance in to a party, do you make your presence known? Do you slip in and look for someone you know? Do you sneak in quietly and find a safe spot to roost.

What is the strangest thing you believed as a child.

What’s the ultimate role play for you.

What is one guilty pleasure you enjoy too much to give up.

What was the most recent compliment you’ve received and savoured.

What do you think about more than anything else.

What celebrity do you think would be the best in bed.

What’s something that amazes you.

What position do you sleep in.

Hickies: major yes or no way

Where is the strangest place you’ve ever had sex.

What’s your all-time favourite town or city.

If you could eliminate one weakness or limitation in your life, what would it be.

If you could restore one broken relationship, which would it be.

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to.

What do you consider unforgivable.

Are you going to ask sweet (little) Caroline more questions.

Pretty much everything. I haven't been able to get through a whole book for pleasure in a long time. Growing up I was an avid reader.

Not an issue, I can fall asleep anywhere, anytime.

When making an entrance in to a party, do you make your presence known? Do you slip in and look for someone you know? Do you sneak in quietly and find a safe spot to roost.
Defiantly the later, but I'm not likely to be at the party in the first place.

What is the strangest thing you believed as a child.
Religion

What’s the ultimate role play for you.
In what sense?

What is one guilty pleasure you enjoy too much to give up.
Iced Coffee

What was the most recent compliment you’ve received and savoured.
Kids kindy teacher said to me when I was dropping her off essentially how good and interesting a parent I am. That was pretty cool.

What do you think about more than anything else.
When im at home, what the kids are doing, when Im at work, work stuff and when Im out by myself I do my best Mel Gibson Braveheart Freedom impersonation.

What celebrity do you think would be the best in bed.
I don't know, not being strictly reliant on looks in determining attractiveness means I tend to 'appreciate' characters as much as the person themselves. For example I had (well, still do I suppose) a major thing for Mary McCormacks character, Kate Harper on the West Wing. Sydney Bristow from Alias springs to mind but I wouldn't make judgments on them personally based on acting...

What’s something that amazes you.
The scope of human idiocy probably sums it up.

What position do you sleep in.
Change between on my side, curled up and on back straight.

Hickies: major yes or no way
If it happens naturally, sure. For the sake of it, not so much.

Where is the strangest place you’ve ever had sex.
The chamber of a parliament building somewhere.

What’s your all-time favourite town or city.
Katoomba, Blue Mountains (But im not well traveled)

If you could eliminate one weakness or limitation in your life, what would it be.
Burgers - Love them but would be so much healthier without them

If you could restore one broken relationship, which would it be.
Don't really have any.

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to.
Id probably change it to Mike since that is most people seem to know me as.

What do you consider unforgivable.
I'm a pretty forgiving person. I takes a lot to get me off side, although certain family members have achieved it.

Are you going to ask sweet (little) Caroline more questions.
Sure.

Mmm well that is true I guess. You seem more articulate than most members, therefore you must be the ring leader. I will be vicariously holding you responsible for any indiscretions caused in these threads. You have been warned

My high standing and reputation at PC means I could never lower myself to participate in such pointless ramblings. Fact I even asked you one question should automatically make it highlight of your stay here..

May I humbly suggest you mount a coup d'etat and become the PC Royal rather than cop. Sentiments like you suggest there are much more befitting of a royal leader than a police officer.

He's the bad Lieutenant?
