Would you like to listen to Darude - Sandstorm?

Never heard of it. 'like' to listen to it is probably a little strong a term but I would have no issue with listening to it if you asked me too. Music really isnt my thing.[DOUBLEPOST=1501804990][/DOUBLEPOST]

Why do you always get my film charades in one guess. Are you really that clever or am I simply shit at playing the game?

I'm a little behind now, but as a teen/early 20's I used to love watching movies. Plus things like 2001 (which, remember, you had to provide an extra clue for!) are classics. Based on the couple you have posted Id say we have a pretty similar taste in movies perhaps?

Profiler for the police? If you were totally biased. How would you profile yourself?

Haha no. I used to do it in business. Mainly in internal talent identification, but else if something wasn't happening or we had internal theft or leaks, very occasionally job interviews etc.
So for example a new role was created, quite unique position and how it was to interact with other positions was unusual. I put together some thoughts on trait and personality types and traits id like to see in the candidate and sat in on the panel interviews asking questions.
Far removed from catching serial killers (like @MrsPacman would have you believe). Also useless to me in mafia btw, if we were sitting around a table saying what we were posting, Yea ok that would help, but the written word not so much.

Reading myself is hard, mainly because I usually have the end goal in mind rather than the person. Get more specific with the questions if you want to (describe the crime scene that would lead to you? What car suits your profile? What do your hobbies say about you? type thing) etc if your interested and Ill elaborate.

If you were a Director, What type of film would you direct and what will be it's cast?

Good question! I like all sorts of movies. Id probably either go along the lines of a Hitchcock type film, so suspence and psychological thriller or do of those cliche archaeological films like national treasure or Indiana Jones.

I can imagine Antony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Delroy Lindo, Don Cheadle, Morgan Freeman, Emma Watson, Daniel day Lewis, Gary Oldman, Jennifer Lawrence etc depending on the characters needed.

If you were the dictator of Australia, what would you do?

Oh geez, where to begin...

The absolute first thing would be to amend the marriage act to allow gay marriage. I can't believe that we still can't get that happening and have been beaten to it by the USA and the IRISH!! THE IRISH BEAT AUSTRALIA TO LEGALISING GAY MARRIAGE! The whole bloody country is more religious than the vatican and still managed to do it.

I would also end the tax deductibilty of churches. If people want to have their beliefs then that's fine, I wouldn't have a problem with that. But automatic tax exemption for churches is ridiculous. If churches do charitable work that meets the legal definition of charity (which i would probably change aswell) that would apply to actual charities then that's fine and that part of it would get the same exemptions as any other charity.

Australia is overgoverned. A country of about 23million or so have a national government, then below that you have 6 states and a couple territories, then below that you have local councils. In whatever form my heirarchy would take it would be alot more streamlined.

There's stacks of Australia I love, our healthcare, our education system etc. Not to say there wouldn't be improvements made, I'd add dental into the Medicare system etc but on those things it would be business as usual.

I would have to take the advice of some economics experts. But I've always thought a system where citizens could opt in and have the government pay off consumer debt (credit cards, personal loans etc) and have the people pay it back through the tax system over a period of time (indexed, but no interest) on legal condition that the citizen not take out consumer debt again. I suspect this would create a better economy at negligible cost to the fiscal bottom line.

And so on, but might leave it there as I could do a whole post on defence, trade, economic, social policy etc.

If you were given the chance to be a main character in a TV series or a film, which would you choose?

The first instinct was Josh from TWW but talking to you and rewatching it has kinda put that at the front of my mind and I think that's kinda limiting.

If your taking the shows as real, I'd probably be one of the Stargate SG1 crew, or perhaps Thor from the same series.[DOUBLEPOST=1501852161][/DOUBLEPOST]

Most of the time I'll stop for episodes of TBBT of looking for something to watch but HIMYM is easier to binge on.

There are a few combinations of people who I think will have to be careful if they get teamed up as scum (Asprin/JR, You and me) etc.

It's not like people are genuinely expecting me to tunnel you every game, but I think we'd have to be careful communicating, for example.

I look forward to an Asprin, Swacker and Surendar scum team.

Id just like a couple of goes at scum. I'm always town aligned Ive pretty much only played expert cop mafia as scum and I had to ask for that. I think a You, me and User team would be fun and challenging

Do you think Rupert Murdoch should be allowed to influence politics and public opinion like he does?

To be honest I'm not overly convinced he does any more. The rise of the new media etc is impacting a decent amount of people more than traditional media. Plus polls tend to show pretty universally that people are pretty consistent about who they vote for. I have a bigger issue with regard to verbatim reporting rather than the influence exertion, although I get alot of people don't distinguish between the two.
