Just saw that Sydney thunder won in both men and women BBL. And both Sydney Thunder won by 3 wickets (with 3 balls remaining).

Above record should not happen if under 12 also have exam just like under 16. Dhanawade suppose to plays vs under 16 but they had exam so school principles requested under 12 team to fields and that is how records created.Media gave too much publicity, my friend Late jayaprakash Narayan hits 314 before tea on day one in Gujarat in 1970
but those (1970) days news not published

A beautiful article on Jadeja's journey. Wow.

The real Jadeja | The Cricket Monthly | ESPN Cricinfo

Lovely piece.

Halfway through I was wondering why the author had started with the "hare fighting a pack of wild dogs" story. Made perfect sense when he drew the comparison with the underdog Jadeja fighting an aggressive English team after being drawn into the pushgate controversy.

It sounds like his wham-bam approach to batting is more to do with the requirements from the team management

Yup. Then I went through the commentary of that match where he made a quick 50 in lords. Then I remembered watching that match after seeing the scorecard.
Great article it is.

A general question for everyone: Its been a long time since we had a single Test team dominating the scene for a long time like the Aussies did during the Waugh/Ponting era. Now the scene is much more unstable - we have had various teams "dominating" for shorter periods but they have all faltered at some point.

Both eras have given us some classical Test matches though. So the question is - which era did you prefer as a Test match enthusiast? And why?

Wow. Just saw somewhere- On this date,

In 2010- Sachin scored first 200 in ODI.
In 2013- MSD scored his first 200 in Tests.
In 2015-Gayle scored first 200 in WC.

The day of Double Centuries.

So very sad to hear the death of Martin Crowe especially at he age of 53. I remember what a marvellous and elegant player he was plus, absolutely world class, to me New Zealand's best ever batsman. I remember his 188 against Australia at Brisbane November 1985 also remembered for Richard Hadlee match winning bowling of 15 for 123. Also his 299 against Sri Lanka a Wellington in`1991 in the then record 467 run partnership with Andrew Jones. Also his 100 not out against Australia at Auckland February 1992 in the world cup, his imaginative and risk taking captaincy like Brendon Mccullum during that world cup like opening the bowling with off spinner Dipak Patel and using his dibbly dobbly bowlers. Martin Crowe was a player I admired immensely when I was growing up I will miss you very much and will never forget the Joy and entertainment you gave us cricket fans around the world R.I.P Martin David Crowe.

MS Dhoni pleased with rejuvenated Bhuvneshwar Kumar | Cricket | ESPN Cricinfo

At the end of the article, UAE's captain Amjad Javed requests ICC that any international teams that visit UAE play against UAE at least once.

Since Dubai is home for Pakistan, any team that tours them should play competitive match against UAE. It will help them grow and motivate them to work hard. I hope they get more chances.
