If I suppose that question was for me which is certainly not but I'd still like to answer, that I'll never leave my job without completing the handed task or else I just would not agree to have a tour representing my company if I'm known about my salary cuts before I've been hired so I could save the time, money and the further workload of the hosts.

Sacking only Pollard and Bravo really doesn't refer to their disappointing activities in past though since not only they two but the whole team had been involved in same case anyways.

It's quite clearly a sacking due the tour, there's no other possible explanation behind it really. I feel the WICB quite clearly were in the wrong personally, and the players were fully justified to refuse to play until they were payed/the issue was resolved.

From all the World Cups that I`ve followed since 1996, this one has had the least build up to it. No mascots, no official anthem, things which generally get released months before. Now with less than a month to go, teams are still playing pointless ODIs across the world without actually resting for the World Cup. Even England 99' had a great vibe to it. This one does`nt seem to have got Australians interested, especially looking at the crowds for the tri-series.

So true. The last World Cup and Champions trophy had so much hype leading up to the tournaments.

that is hardly true in an australian context

its natural for the stands to not be packed to see a random tri-series between an Australia-India series and the World Cup - especially as some of the games have been held in the MCG which always looks empty simply because of how many people it can seat!

I've gone for an interesting team by picking one player from every test team plus one associate player: its quite an interesting way of approaching the thing.

Has things gone that worse between players and WICB? WICB, particularly Lloyd has made it loud and clear that WI cricket should come first for any player from the Caribbean particularly some domestic cash rich T20 leagues which core WI players seem to be more interested in. May be that is the reason for the omission of players from T&T from where most of our T20I specialists come from.

This is too much. I am all for Lloyd but now I smell a rat. I hope they pick a sensible replacement.
