I really think all you newbies should have a go at selecting a team on your own first. Guys like Adarsh (Cricket Geniuses), PC (The Falcons), Ste (Everton), and myself amongst many other of the first teams here were on our own when it came to choosing our teams. I say it is best you do it yourself. That is the only way you'll get a hang of the game. It really is no fun if someone tells you what to do and how to train. I imagine that if it happened to me when I joined, I would have gotten bored very quickly. It was a lot more fun discovering for myself...

Yeah , will do that. I have a good playing XI now. But just one cup fixture which means it's a knock out. So if i loose no more games for me?

Yup. But the league matches start this Friday, so you will have 1 game per week for sure in your league. And then you can arrange a friendly match with a team from here or anywhere once every week for Sunday...

I tryed in my first season and i got relegated. I need the help zorax, thanks anyway zohaib.

Yeah , will do that but many guys don't respond to challenges. It's so frustrating. I hope i can do well in the league. No chance for the cup though.

You will find it easy after when u play high level sides first irrespective of the results.. I played huge teams in the beginning ( Kutta,Viral, Briggy) all which i lost I lost my first 5 friendly matches in battrick

You have competiton , i have a unbroken record of 2 at the moment.:

There is no effect of winning or losing a friendly. Infact, it is better to play a higher ranked team. You get more cash as they are more popular (Gate receipts are split 50-50, but are much, much, much lower than a league game.)

Ohhh.But won't the sponsors and members loose confidence if I go on loosing games. Is it only for gate reciept that we play? Do players increase in experience if I play a higher ranked team.

Nope, sponsors don't care, exp. doesn't change, and your players barely get tired from playing a friendly (Only has about 1/3 of the effect of a proper match on the player's Fitness level). It is just for the cash. The league here is just for fun, and 'unofficial' league.
Oh, and stats from friendlies are counted seprate from the stats from other matches.

I know how to challenge a team. I was aking how do you guys arrange the PC battrick league?
