I think one important thing to remember is that you can't become the best team over night so don't expect to win everything straight away.

If you can win 1 of every 3 games then you are doing ok. I got relegated to grade 6 and its done me the world of good. So losing isn't always so bad.

We have had 3 games now, 1 a play-off (I dunno what for) and we lost, then a friendly and we got beaten badly again. Finally the most recent game we won a thriller with 6 wickets still in hand

Bought 2 players so far to strengthen our bowling, Ed Swanton and Angus Tweed. Mark Akhtar is on transfer market.

Financial stability is great and we have a staff member for each area, with 2 batting and bowling coaches. Our ground isn't big.

Can I please have some suggestions on how to run the team and advice on how to get better. Also I have 1 big question I need answering!

Does it show the improvements (if any) on training, or is it just look for yourself to see if his attributes have moved up?

Looking at some of these teams, I think I was extremely lucky to have a player with strong batting and proficient bowling in my initial squad. I sold him for 1,450,000 and bought my two openers and my first change bowler with the money.

We have to figure the skill increases ourself! That shouldn't be too tough as the player's skill increases only if nets are given to them! And also, for your squad, Mears, Fulton, Cawood & Hulbert look the best players! And best of luck to your team!

Yes cawood hit a winning knock of 90 odd unbeaten the last match. Fulton and Hulbert also made good contributions of 40's and 60's and Mears was the most economical.

You have some good youngsters in there but a lot of your guys aren't up to the grade. Any guy with a feeble primary should be sold or fired. If the guy is primary: Med, secondary: less than Med and you aren't training should be gone too.

Don't get rid of too many players though.

It might be a safer idea to keep as much of the squad as possible for now, just until you can be sure players are worth getting rid of.

Dont start firing them randomly and rashly.

Well obviously buy some replacements first, you can get comp/med guys for less than 10k. Then start firing, no point in wasting salary on guys not worth keeping.
