And Lefty: Hard & Fast will help your bowlers if they are all F bowlers. RFM will do okay, Ms will struggle unless the conditions are useful, and Spinners will be cannon fodder.
A good overall pitch is Green or Dusty, depending if you have more seamers or spinners.

It usually depends on the opponent in ur league. I guess, ur opponents must be far away from you like Syl had in last season becos you too must be in Australia division. If thats the case, then, one season is what you need to wait.

Btw, are you new to battrick?

EDIT : I am sure, ppl like Voldy or Zorax or Zain or angy or some experienced battrick members will help you in spotting the correct trainees from the squad you posted.

OK Mate looking at your squad above you need to grasp some fundamentals of the game first by looking through the rules etc. JFW etc is useful but im a mentor there so no point asking for mentoring over there now!

A batsmen needs Batting,Concentration and Stamina and Fielding is an added bonus.

A bowler needs Bowling,Consistency and Stamina and again Fielding is an added bonus.

Look for players like below (Mix and Match for batting and bowling) :

I would've waited until the new season started. Because you would get younger players. This guy will be 19 in a week or 2. And will be even harder to train.

You are going to need to recruit a fair few players skaterboarder. The secondary of a number of those players are below par. You want a minimum of mediocre as a secondary although some of those guys with respectable will do for the start
