General Questions Thread

I always thought that, WK nets along with fielding will increase the pop of cons/conc faster than having say 2 fielding nets?

What a wrong thought I have been in! :noway

That's what I meant. Conc/cons pop at the same rate with 1 fielding net or 2, while with a fielding and a WK net together they pop faster.

ie. for a 17 y/o

Code:
Conc (Bat) 14.2
Conc (Bat + Field)	7.1
Conc (Bat + 2 Field)	7.1
Conc (Bat + Field + WK)	5.2

Is battrick down I can't get on and haven't been able to get on all day!

Appears so! I've been trying to get on for about two hours now and so far nothing.

Maxkarter added 20 Minutes and 13 Seconds later...

Appears to be working now!

If you try to be really inconspicuous with an elite player, is there a way for a NT manager to figure out you have one?

So, I've got a problem. My two openers are failing most innings. Should I replace them? They started off so good, averaging 50 and 100, and one of them is my captain.

What should I do?

Are you playing teams much better than you? If so then I wouldn't worry about it. If not then could be worth changing their aggression or trying them lower down.

How do you tell that teams are better than you? Battrick ratings on players?

I'm getting owned.

Record in past 10 games (most recent first):
Lost
Lost
Lost
Lost
Won
Lost
Lost
Lost
Lost
Lost

I'm a failure at Battrick.

Your team's morale also goes down when you keep loosing games. (It can be found on your nets page). That probably wouldn't help.

Wages is usually the most accurate. Battrick Helpfile
Compare the players wages to that page and you should get an idea of how good their players are. The simple way is to use the report summary. If you can find a friendly match where they used their best 11 that will tell you their report summary on Play as normal (PAN) else checking their OD matches will do.

ok i'm wondering what I should do with my trainees.
for batting it will be (stam, bat, conc) respectively and bowling (stam, bowl, cons) respectively.

The ages will be what they are at the end of the season

I'll have
Batsman: 18 years old (RHB, Destructive)
Resp, Prof, Comp

Bowler: 18 years old (LHS, Destructive)
Feeb, Prof, Comp

Bowler: 18 years old (RFM, Cautious)
Med (+16), Strong (+35), Feeble (+91)

Bowler: 19 years old (LHS, Destructive)
Strong (+50), Superb (+16), Resp (+80)

who should I sell and who should i keep training. i know what I should be training each guy on next season so I'm just wondering who I should keep training.

Definitely train the latter two. The first two depends on who you plan on training in there place. If you are getting a comp/resp 17 yo at the start of next season then you would be better of training them. But this depends on how many nets you will put on them. If you have only put on 1 net on the first two guys then you may as well continue that training.
