I received lots of new members after promotion from my BT20 league last season. I am currently in a relegation battle and wondering if its worth battling for either 7th or 8th place, which would happen again next season, and rather relegate now, win my lower BT20 league again next season and take the members bonus again? The standard difference between BT20 leagues seems huge!

After the new members promotion bonus starting this season, is there also a big member loss for relegation?

I have got sessions available when I go to nets. All 10 are taken up by 2 players who are 17 and the only decent young ones I got. Is that the way to go?
Also how do I improve their secondary stats? It's all way to confusing !!!!

As for my plan, I've got a rubbish, but balanced team. I'm just going to see it out for a bit with them till I get money to hit the market. I'm not touching the youth. Can this strategy be effective on the game?


My head is really hurting after sitting here for ages trying to sort things, so any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well it really depends on how good your two 17yo's are, and what other players you have in your team. Ideally you want to have med/med/med players minimum. You should actually fire all the players you have that are worse than that and buy a bunch of 17yo's that meat that criteria, they'll only cost you a few k.

It's best to spread your nets over a few players 3 - 4 for starters, once your team is stronger you can go for the superstar method or keep single netting a bunch of guys. Secondaries improve with traning, as long as you are training a primary - bowling or batting - and have sports psychologists employed.

Well your plan is pretty much the ideal plan for a new team, once you're more established you can start spending money on the academy and better players.

By med/med/med I assume you mean mediocre? I just bought in someone with mediocre batting and respectable concentration for 2 K. Maybe I'll have a look for a fwe of those now.

I have a game tomorrow in the 20/20 comp. The team I am playing are decent, all 7/6K rating players, where as I'm mainly 2-4K. Is there any hope of me winning go normal, bearing in mind the manager has not logged in for a fortnight?

Yes, stamina/primary/secondary.

You could get away with a win, I've found you can win BT20 games with a weaker team easier than any other type of game. Here's a tip though, BTR isn't everyting, it's a decent guideline, but don't take it as gospel, as fielding or keeping or high stamina might inflate it and hide possilby bad secondaries or primaries. A better bet for scouting a team would be to check wages and reporters summaries of their previous matches.

I've managed to bring in a couple fo players, going to try and get in 2 or 3 more. Do any of you use 2 spinners and have a dusty pitch. Will the game pick up on this and give me an advantage if I do this?

Just don't overspend at the start. If you spend too much then you'll lose too much money each week and you'll go bankrupt.

It's only worth capitalising on a dusty pitch if your attack is formed with your spinners in mind. If they are the same level as the rest of your bowlers, I don't think it'll make that much of a difference, but it would give them a slight advantage.
