Former Mclaren driver Juan Pablo Montoya has also voiced his support for Alonso claiming that team chief Ron Dennis has always wanted to control everything.

A Chief being in control

Stop the Press!!!!!

:D

So then 3 races left (Fuji, Shanghai and Interlagos) who will win the title, Hamitlon, Alonso or Raikkonen? For it to be the latter I think he has to win all three. I'd love to say Hamilton, but given how the season has gone it'll probably be Alonso.

Its difficult to call. Ferrari, imo, have the better race car, so Raikkonen can win all the three remaining races. But somehow I feel it'll be Mr.Alonso who will leave Mclaren with a third consecutive world championship.

I'd still say McLaren have the more reliable car. It's almost between Alonso and Hamilton, Fuji at the weekend will be interesting.

Huge straight, those who have played GT4 will know it to an extent, it's in a stunning area with the infamous Mount Fuji close by. That big straight could be an engine burner.

Rumour has it that Fernando Alonso has agreed to join Ferrari next season, with Felipe Massa moving to Toyota as a result. Ferrari will not have to buy out the Spaniard's remaining contract at Mclaren.

Ferrari will not learn will they? Have they learnt nothing from Schumi? He proved that to maximise your chances of winning titles you have a clear No.1 and No.2. You should have Kimi as No.1 and an experienced No.2 (Webber? Fisi? Trulli?) who can help setup the car who will bring in a lot of points and hopefully complete a lot of 1-2s, thus optimising the chances of winning the title. They won the title 5 years in a row doing that, Renault won it twice in a row, McLaren won it twice doing that, Schumi won like that at Benneton, I'm baffled as to why they can't grasp this.

Even if the rumour isn't true my point is still relevant to the McLaren's and Ferrari's of today.

Tomorrow is judgement day for this season's title. Lewis is on pole at China and Alonso is 4th, Alonso has to beat Lewis and probably win too, to keep his chances alive.

The race starts 7AM in England, so that's an evening race in Australia (is it live or do you get a delay?) and a afternoon race in Asia.

I'll be up (earlier) to watch this fascinating race. Race build up starts from six in the morning. Come on Lewis!

Indeed it does, no way I'm getting up at 6am to watch an hour of waffle either. Alarm set for 6:50 ;)

God Hamilton is some talent! He doesn't need to win this yet he's resisting Kimi Raikkonen amazingly.

No!! Hamilton's straight into the pits and couldn't turn in, this should be all over for Hamilton for this race. Another twist in this fascinating season!

I was screaming for them to bring him in a lap earlier. I also think Alonso should have thrown caution to the wind and gone for slicks after his first stop but I guess it worked out ok for him anyway.

Silly by McLaren and Hamilton too, he was going far too quick into the pit lane, but still he is in 'pole position' for Brazil in 2 weeks time. Good race for Torro Roso.

Final race of the season starts today. We're in Brazil, Qualifying starts at 4:30PM tomorrow on ITV (5:00PM start) and the race starts at 4:00PM on Sunday with race also at 5:00PM. (I'll try to update this if it's wrong. I'm sure it's right though after checking the F1 site.

Lewis wins with a top two place no matter what, Alonso has to win and Lewis finish 3rd and i think Alonso wins having won more races. Come on Lewis.
