Well I have to say that ending was way too obvious, Harry not dying was not a smart idea in my opinion, and Voldemort's death was so quick I was disappointed.

A bit of an anti-climax for me, though I had a feeling he wouldn't die because everyone is in love with him.

That spoiler site was very smart...

As for Snape I knew all along that he wasn't evil, it's so obvious when you think about it, Harry distrusts him, and is proven wrong on countless ocassions, but he still hates Snape. That simply proves that Snape is going to be good.

Read the book. I hate people who purposely find out what happens at the end of a book before they get to it.
How do you get to know from the post that he hasnt read the book ?

I still havent finished the book, im taking it slow! :p

Just finished the book (Had a lot on during the week so only really had the weekends :p)

Found it hard to bypass this thread :p But my thoughts on the book, is that its best of the lot, it explains things perfectly, Voldemorts death is perfect, Harry didnt kill him, Voldemort killed himself, as he did the night that Harrys mother and father died. Voldemort, as Dumbledore said, was too stupid to recognise things could over-power the elder wand, love, as Voldemort mocked was a main feature. Voldemort had a scare it seems late on in the book as they cirlced.

The classic bit was Molly Weasley killing? Bellatrix, and Neville becoming a teacher.

I think in a few years time, JK Rowling should release a small book (Maybe for charity as she did a few years ago with those little books) outlining the lives and tasks which now face the gang, as im a bit disappointed to not find out who teaches at Hogwarts, what Harry is doing as a job, how the Weasley brother is hanging in without the other. I'd really like a round up, but i reckon this book will be fantastic in the cinema!

Hopefully more books, not that she needs the money...

Well an encyclopedia will have to do

Strange, looks like an error to me, but it says that victoire, bill's son , is snogging teddy, lupin's son. How on earth is that possible and how does harry allow this sort of stuff ? :p

Yeah, well clearly it's a transcription error and means 'daughter' for Victoire - not that there's anything wrong with Teddy snogging whoever he likes...
