Woah i'm new to this thread and it took me hours to read up on the previous pages...

anyway... i don't think Snape and DD had an unbreakable vow becoz Voldy would have read it in snape's mind since he's a great legilimens.

I think Dumby's was a Horcrux. Not since long.... his hand became injured when he touched the ring and that made him a horcrux.... that was why he was PLEADING snape to kill him.

I think Harry is a horcrux too... remember what dumby said? 'he was in the process of finding a 6th horcrux when he came to ur parents' so i think he will die in the end and i think ron, herm or snape will kill him.

I also think that either Silver cup with the black family crst that Mundungus stole and the locket that u all talked abt are Horcruxes.

Ok abt the letter from R.A.B, maybe now that Harry's read it he can enter a new room in Gimmauld place (if RAB is Regulus) like he could enter Grimmauld place after reading Dumby's letter

I disagree.Snape is an Excellent Occlumens.DD in my opinion in no way could be a Horcrux, just by touching another Horcrux.I don't think Harry is a Horcrux. The book is seen from his point of view so it would almost be impossible to finish the stories. The locket is a Horcrux, and the Cup.......i couldn't say for sure.About another room,i highly doubt it.
Welcome to this thread though!

Yeah long time .this thread has been inactive or rather I have been.
Anyways the movie was excellent.

Next coming back to book 6

There is no way harry could be a horcrux.
Why would voldie want to destroy harry then ( if he were the horcrux)
I feel snape will end up killing voldie.

That's what I want to happen, but I doubt if it will because the prophecy states that only Harry can kill Voldemort.

Anyway, I've been re-reading the 4th book, and I found some interesting parts that show Snape's good. In the Chapter "The Dream" there's a few lines where Snape is telling DD that the Dark Mark on his arm was getting clearer and stronger...now if Snape were with Voldemort, he wouldn't exactly be telling DD that Voldemort was showing signs of returning..right?

Yeah, but then again,DD is fvcking intelligent.......(i like Snape,i'm not against him).I just can't see him being bad.The first five books point to him being cruel, even childish about his grudge against James which leads onto Harry. But there seems to be a miriad of points which point to him being good.He has never been enthusiastic about The Dark Lord.He seems like his own man,and he doesn't seem like he has much of a grudge against Muggle borns. When has any real evidence shown that he is particularly evil towards Muggleborns?

I came across this one.
"If in the impossible event that Draco fulfils his task I shall be able to stay at Hogwarts a little longer and fulfil my useful role as spy"-Snape

Rowling mentions 'as spy' not as 'as a spy'

As spy for whom is the major question ?

I think that Snape is most probably with the Order. There are a number of clues throughout the books, which I cant be bothered going into, but suffice it to say, that I think, the way JK has set it up, its going to be very difficult for her to fit Harry's destroying of 4 horcruxes, and then an ending, into a reasonable length book, without making some of it seem a little too trivial. I am not knocking her skill sas a writer, nor her knowledge of her own storyline, but Im not sure if, when she does complete the septology, the final installment will be as spectacular as those before, although I certainly hope that it is.

I agree with you that there have been ENOUGH clues to suggest that Snape is in the essence of this particular 'argument' on the 'Good' side.I do also wonder about how she'll fit the destruction of four Horcruxes into the book. She has said that OOTP is prolly the longest book she'll write, and that,to me,does not suggest anything good. The book needs to be long.Long!!!!!!!

I don't kow if you have posted on this thread before, but Welcome anyway!

I cant help but want this final book to be a couple thousand pages, SImply because I want her to tie up every loose end, and write a completely encompassing and well rounded story, that doesnt skimp on the details. I also dont care if she takes several years over it, as long as the quality is as awesome as the last. thats a tall order though.

I don't doubt that she'll write a quality book, but the length is something that we can dream about until it is finally given a certain amount of pages. It would be brilliant if the book was two-thousand pages........but somehow.i doubt it.

Well,it could have been longer. When i first heard the length of the Sixth book i was pretty annoyed.......but the book was quality.....so that made up for it.

I too think that Harry might be the sixth unknown Horcrux.
Simply because

1) Voldemort killed two people at that time.
2) Harry does have something or some part of Voldemort(his powers).

Also its not neccessary that Harry would be the one that is to kill Voldemort.Even first time that Voldemort died Harry didnt do anything.

It might be the darkhorse ie Neville who is to kill Voldemort. Even prophecy says either of them and its just that Voldemort chose Harry over Neville.

This doesnt seem right ,I know ,but with Jk you never know.
