Just read-back now. After Hagrid died, I gave a possible reason of Hagrid's role, and lynched Matt. The following posts were by Callum, Hedger, Varun and Chewie, mostly discussing on Hagrid's possible role. This was Aditya's first post after Hagrid's demise.

Reason : Has been acting weirdly and not saying anything in his defence when he knows that he can be lynched if he doesn't prove that he is not a mafia.

I'm not. I was offline when all this discussion took place. As far as p23456789 is concern, I'm really quite confused about him. Basically what he is saying is that Chewie lynched him, Mark posted good discussion going and then lynched him. Lynching someone because they lynched you is noobness. Remember, you are not playing this game for yourself but for the townies as well unless you are mafia.

I didn't support Papa_Smurf blindly. I had a good reason to lynch Matt. He was not at all helping the game and was rather posting something silly in his defence.

I am not lynching Chewie or Mark just pointing out that the same thing happened twice(and the second time it happened just after I put my suspicion on both of them) but I am not lynching either Chewie or Mark because I don't have a good enough reason.

Yes, that's the right way to go. If you don't have a solid reason to prove that either Mark or Chewie are mafia don't lynch them because a single mistake can make us loose a Hogwarts member.

Seriously, I'm not going to fall for the inexperience thing once again given how well Varun played last time round.

That is something awkward. But the way User's been playing makes me believe he is pro-town.

Sometimes believing everyone is townie is not always the best idea. This is because everyone will look more or less townie (unless they have done something to give themselves away). Mafia can be quite a percentage game where you predict a person to most likely mafia rather than townie.

Yes, you indeed can be a mafia person. After that post you have made me suspicious of you, either you defend yourself or else you are getting lynched.

Both these posts make me suspicious of them. There has to be an experienced member as mafia (or godfather).

True, but he hadn't even posted something anything after Hagrid's demise. As Callum had said, it was better to wait for him to explain himself before taking action.

Secondly, the discussion at the time was surrounded around Hagrid's role. You didn't even have a reaction to his death, just went straight for a Matt lynch.

I am lynching you btw, and that is the best defence you can give me? Not good enough.

I think I've been contributing a lot more than you have, so saying you can't infer anything positive (for town) from my posts is a pretty poor reason, considering it wasn't until yesterday when you starting being active.

Yeah, sorry for not having a reaction to Hagrid's death. I was just about to go offline but wanted to lynch Matt as I was suspicious on him and I had a good reason to lynch him. His inactivity and as far as giving him a chance to explain himself is concern, he did got a chance to explain himself but he didn't. He just posted "lynch me, lynch me, lynch me".

Why not? Consider my points.

1. He vanished. Which character in the Order of Phoenix vanished when he was attacked?

2. He said he had a 13% chance of being a mafia, that means 87% chance of being anti-mafia. Plus he said "I think the ones who aren't lynching me are mafia" that directly suggests something positive in his role.

3. He was silenced for the day. Who but a mafia member would do it? They probably thought he was a suicide bomber or something, but when he survived, it was decided to shut him up.

Scrutinize the first point carefully. I think the mafia already know this so that isn't a big deal hinting.

He said everything you mentioned but how can you believe him? When a mafia is getting lynched he says something in his defence but can you believe everything that he is saying?

Plus the fact that Smurf's investigation reported him as death-eater and me as well. And I know I'm a townie.

Not a convincing defence. As for the 'lynch me, lynch me , lynch me', he posted that hours after you decided to lynch him.

Are you implying Dumbeldore? In which case, he isn't. I posted this after Matt's dissappearance, and Spin's reply.

2) He's Dumbeldore. Far-fetched idea, I know. But the way Spin described Matt's 'dissappearnce', it reminded me of when Fudge, Umbridge and Kingsley surrounded Dumbeldore in his office during 'Order of Phoenix'. Just as they were about to curse, Dumbeldore dissappeared.

I don't mean to help, but really don't analyse that write-up. I was exhausted (and still am), so it wasn't the best I've come up with. Just take it that he didn't die and leave it at that.

Ok, forget that he vanished. Still, he was immune to a lynch or kill, and Dumbledore is the only townie in that case who could possess that kind of power.

Also, I don't believe there are any individually aligned players. Like, who can be the enemy or HP and Voldemort both? Or anyone who is not concerned with anybody?

I'm not really saying that all your points are invalid. I'm saying that we should not believe in everything that a member says once he is getting lynched. He might be silent, because he had such a role that he couldn't post much but then we need to also see the other way of the coin. He well might be a mafia but now the chances are less as the points that you have mentioned are fair.
