Watched 'Ajab Prem Ki...' last night. I have to say that I really enjoyed the film. If you really enjoyed 'Andaz Apna Apna', you will really like this film too. Many of those old time crackling one liners and the maniac fighting in some godown, etc. This film is not a different one with a great story. Its old wine in new bottle. But the wine tastes really good, and thats what matters! Ranbir is a star, he is really coming into his own. Katrina looked better than some of her recent films and she had a role too. The rest made up the numbers. "Tu Jaane Na" was the hummable of the lot. "Ek Baar Nazar" was peppy enough too.

I hated Blue, I hated All the Best (I didnt watch more than 15 mins of it). I didnt like Kambakth Ishq too (unbearable). Love Aaj Kal was also average-below average for me (considering the lofty expectations set by Jab We Met). I do have films that I dont like.

My thing is, I dont expect the story/screenplay to be radically different or earth shattering. For me, whats most important is if I am entertained for those hours that I spend at the theatre (or in front of the TV). But I have enjoyed films like RDB, Wednesday, etc too because they have been entertaining in a different sense (gripping proceedings with powerful dialogues, etc). Recently, I enjoyed "Life in a Metro" a lot. One of the best ever movies I've seen. It was so good.

Absolutely! He looked so horrible in that scene where he makes an appearence in 'Ajab Prem...'. And when Ranbir introduces his girlfriend, Katrina to Salman, he delivers a punch line "Its as if you are introducing my girlfriend as your girlfriend" (cant post the hindi lines of it, forgot).
