Just booked my tickets for MNIK. I am going to watch it on Friday, 7:30 pm. Gosh! I am sitting in the first row. The shows are houseful already. I was not able to get even a single ticket for Saturday and Sunday.

If they dont screen the movie here in Cincinnati by Sunday afternoon, I am going to drive down to Columbus (1.5 hr drive) to watch the movie on Sunday evening. CANT WAIT TOO LONG! Its disgusting that this film is a Fox release and yet its not being released like a regular Hollywood film (atleast so far no news of a regular Hollywood type release)

My Name Is Khan is really being advertised well, I don't know if any UK viewers watched this, but SRK was live on the Jonathon Ross show, which is a pretty big thing on TV here. It's bound to be a success considering the serious concept of the film alongside one of the best acting pairs in Bollywood.

Just watched 'Rann'. WOW! Awesome film. Really exceptional performances and finally, RGV does major justice to the talent that he has. An RGV masterpiece! Amitabh Bachchan's performance (esp. the climax, which is usual these days for him) is mind blowing. Ritesh Deshmukh is very good, but the other guy (the Kannada actor who plays Amitabh's son) is the second major highlight. Paresh Rawal and Mohnish Behl, the veterans, do a great job too. I can understand why this film didnt do well at the box office (a film that highlights the money minded nature of the media, and the media decides the box office fate of films these days).

Will watch the film again after a few days just for the performances and the intensity!

There was no 'masala' in Rann...........it was the facts and how the media run their business flat in your face. Overall good movie but didnt have the killer edge.

Its a Ram Gopal Varma movie. You shouldnt expect masala going into his film. And also these days, people prefer for the filmmakers to keep the masala out as much as they can because they are already getting bored of it. The background score of the film was really good. Enhanced the film at many places.
