I don't know anything about House of cards so don't get mad if any of my analysis don't make sense.

He was going to be out for the night, like so many times before. He set out to get him, but... no. There was someone there. He seemed like one of his own. He had to retreat.

Seems like the cop tried visiting a mafia member but the person was lawyered. So probably the person who the cop visited was nilla.

He went to the Capitol next and met someone unexpected. It was bad, he had to lay low during daylight.

Might be a roleblocker. The next sentence means that the pr is no useful to us as he hasn't got anything valuable.

And I really don't know what the last two paras mean. Hope someone else knows and analyzes good.

Oh right. Just automatically skipped the write-up because they were for the sake of it in the last Simon game I partook in. Will post thoughts.

The so called mafia went toattack someone, but he wasn't able to carry out his role. This could mean that guy is the mafia-type, since there were no killings on day one.

Elsewhere, he was there to keep vigilance for the one on top of the food chain. Not like he had enough protection already, it wasn't necessary. For completely different reasons though, he was called back.

I might have mis understood this if it is related to House of Cards. I guess top of the food chain means the mafia type. Maybe there are some protectors of the mafia?

Okay, that's a fair number of people apparently referred to in the writeup for a 7-player game. All of them are ambiguous, also given that I know nothing about the show, and have nothing to offer in the actual roles they represent. I will keep an eye on these and save my evaluation for the next day, if I don't wound up dead of course.
@Dipak - Simon didn't mention it but he confirmed to me that this was a non-lethal night. You're supposed to mention this, Simon.
