How are you doing in ICC? (any version)

I won my group stage beating Kenya, Canada and NZ comfortably and currently sit top of the Super 8's with 10 points from 5 games. Unbeaten. :)

Pietersen, Strauss and Vaughan have been immense as has Colly, Freddie and Monty with the ball.

See attachments, I did try to do a screenshot and upload it but it went funny.

In the semi-final against 4th placed India, in the other semi-final is Aus v Pak.
Pak are favourites for that game I think as they beat them in the Super 8's comfortably.

Still unbeaten. :)

Update: Won the WC by beating Pak in the final, won comfortably. Had top 2 batsmen and top 2 bowlers. :) Nice start.

I won the 4th Ashes test, 2-0 up now so the series is over. I brought Broad in for harmison, 1-160 on another batting pitch that turned on the 4h and 5th day. Broad did make Clarkson retire hurt so 2 wickets credit. Rashid and Jones took 4 wickets a piece in the first innings. Kp hit a hundred, Shah, Bell and Prior hit 50s. I will look forward to resting Cook with Chopra coming in. I think I'll rest Flintoff and KP too. Maybe even give Pettini a debut.

I won the World Cup with England pretty easily and am 3-0 in the test series against West Indies but having had alot of time to play recently. Pietersen, Bell and Strauss have been immense with the bat but my man at the moment is Tremlett who I think has had 4 innings at test level with me against West Indies and he got 5fer in first innings, 3 in second, 5fer in thrid and 6 in fourth, but that is just going off the top of my head. Darymple has been pretty damn good with the bat also and a littly hadny with the ball too. So far we have been doing incredibly well. :)

5th test, I made several changes. Chopra, Patel, Compton, Pettini and Smith in. Rashid, Pietersen, Cook, Prior and Flintoff out.

Compton hit 175 and got MOM, Pettini hit 50 and took everything. Smith took 6-31 in the first innings and 1-65 in the second from 30 overs including 10 maidens. Broad hit 82 whilst batting and took 2 wickets. Monty took a 5 for as we won the match and the series 3-0. ODI series next.

Michael Munday took a single innings 9for in South Africa as i won a test by 20odd runs. I declared with South Africa requiring 452 to get and they only just fell short. De Villiers was fantastic with the bat, almost won the game for them, then Munday came to the rescue with an awesome 9for. That was the first test of the away South Africa series, 2nd test is blatently heading for a draw, South Africa lead by 50 runs in the 2nd session of the 4th day, cant see it going anywhere other than a draw, unless my bowlers bowl their hearts out and bowl them out for under 150. ICC 2006 is such an awesome game, perfect for the odd half hour spell when bored.

edit: Haha, so much for the draw. Bowled them out for 156 and chased 210 with an hour to spare on the 5th day with Wood with an unbeaten hundred and Cook on 90*, a pretty handy 10 wicket win, and that's won me the series. My team are becoming too good :D

I'm 2-0 ahead of Australia in the 3 match final of the ODI tri-series. KP has hit two hundreds, Prior has broken a rib and is out of the tour and definitely the world cup! Smith and Davies have done well with the ball. Flintoff is in poor bowling form, having taken more than a wicket in his last 10 bowling innings more than once...

I won the 3rd match, Broad, Smith, Davies and Panesar all took 2 wickets as they got 186-9. Pettini hit 89* and Tres 64. Prior is out of the WC, Pettini has 225 runs at 55 with 2 scores in the 80s and his keeping has been very good. I think he will be the keeper in the WC, he opens too which helps.

Just finished the 2nd test against Zimbabwe, and a world record broken :D. Jim Bulman, superstar batsman scores an unbeaten 405*, only 1 lbw appeal and 1 catchable shot in the whole innings. The team as a whole managed 933 aswell, and England record, with Cook, Wood, Bulman, Cleef and Hughes all scored hundreds, Bulman was the star though !!. I only managed a draw though, declared a little into the 2nd session of the 5th day after Bulman reached the World Record and could only get 6 Zimbabwean wickets. Ah well, still won the series 1-0 :D Bulman now averages over 80 in Test Match cricket, and has over 3000 runs.

I am trying to play a few season of Aus-Lancs on ICC3. I have never made a file go past the year 2013 and I want to get this one go to 2020 or later because thats when peeps files go awesome.

I'm through the group stage in the 2011 WC. Lost to the Aussies as I only scored 249. I brought in Rashid for Broad for the Scotland match. I think I will keep him in, although it was only Scotland I think 2 spinners is the way to go. Pettini hit his first hundred, scoring a single to win the game and finish 100*.
