How are you doing in ICC? (any version)

i managed to win a good match as India getting bowled out for 361 then pakistan in reply had a first wicket partnership of 243 with Farhat making 140 and Umar made 109 then they flopped to 285 all out

Okay, we hit a bit of a rut but won 4 out of 5 tests vs WI having lost the tests to Bangladesh. Got some WI ODIs to come and then an Ashes tour!

Just lost the first ODI by 1 run! Tremlett took 3-34 in their total of 243, but Panesar went for 66. Rashid 3-51. Cook scored 8 from 41 balls! KP did well but hasn't scored a century in the last 2 ODI seasons. Tremlett hit 23 from 18 but couldn't win me the game in partnershp with Monty. I think I will drop Cook, despite scoring 2 hundreds last year, I think Compton will come in and I'll open with Prior and Tres.

After winning the world cup i had a nice test series against India. I won the test series 3-2, was 3-0 up in the series so simmed the last 2 tests and lost both :p. I then managed to win the odi series, surprisingly easily aswell, i scored 350+ in the first 2 matches, with Jim Bulman making 167 and 158 in the 2 games, what a star he is. 10 test matches with an average of 99.08, 6 hundreds aswell. He is one of my top players. I cant seem to find a consistent middle order batsman though, I seem to be rotating between Bell and Shah and neither are performing well, i might have to have a look at the county scene, see who's performing well, or bring Strauss back in as a number 5, or maybe even Vaughan.

I'm now playing a test series against Pakistan, a 4 test series, 2-0 up after the first two, so the series is pretty much won. The only problem with this series, other than the inconsistency of my number 5 is Jimmy Anderson. Normally my best bowler, has been struggling for wickets, only has 7 in the first 2 tests, not upto his normal standards. Hoggy, Munday, Freddie and Monty are doing well though so meh. GoJo's in as keeper for this series aswell, i did have Prior, and he was doing really well but broke his finger, looking forward to getting him back.

Here's my current test team:
Cook
Wood
Bulman
Pietersen (c)
Shah/Bell/looking for replacement, maybe Dalrymple- seems to be doing well in the county game
Flintoff
Prior
Munday
Anderson
Hoggard
Panesar

My Odi team is almost exactly the same, but with Tremlett instead of Hoggy, and Harvey instead of Cook. I'm Top of the test rankings and closing the gap on India at the top of the Odi rankings. I'm doing really well :D

When you have won a series, like me do you give debutants a chance? If I have fringe players I play them in a series already wrapped up. Doubt Rashid would've got many games if I hadn't.

Ooh I forgot to mention earlier, I have an up and coming all rounder called Jeff Malick at Kent, his FC record is poor but is very good in OD cricket. There are some others around too, though to be honest, when Fred goes/gets injured I can play with 4 bowlers, my seamers rarely bowl 14 overs each in a days play. KP and Bell are quite nifty part timers.

Why do you guys play Country? i play county i have been offered the England job heaps but i refuse it.

EDIT: Oh any help on my team and how i can improve it?

Your team above? Maybe a new keeper and a new opener to replace Ardley..

Why? Because I enjoy it, I've got a Middlesex county game haven't played it in a while.

I lost the 2nd but won the 3rd ODI. I dropped Monty and brought in Tom Smith, I might bring Monty or Harmison back in for Tremlett as he is too expensive. Cook was dropped after a 2 in the 2nd ODI, Prior is opening.

Lolz, the test i played after my post i decided to field a whole team of regens, other than Michael Munday. I need 430 to win the test match in a day and a half, not going to happen :p. GoJo is a god though, in the 3 tests that he played against Pakistan, he made 3 fifties and a hundred, all in succession, so he has a 50 in his last 4 innings, and hasnt dropped one catch. I'm not planning on dropping him any time soon, even though Prior's fit. GoJo ftw.

Interestingly he's gone completely quiet in my game. Though I will take a second keeper to Aus, I don't know who. Prior's form in the summer has been iffy.

Look how many people on my team play for England but even with my 2nd team i go alright:D and i dont use artmoney it justs ruins the game

My Ashes Squad: (I did do a screenshot but the resolution wasn't right.)

1.KP (RHB)
2.Bell (RHB)
3.Shah (RHB)
4.Compton (RHB)
5.Cook (LHB)
6.Trescothick (LHB)
7. Chopra (RHB)
8.Prior (RHB)
9.Pettini (RHB)
10.Flintoff (RHB/RF)
11.Patel (RHB/SLA)
12.Rashid (LS)
13.Smith (RM)
14.Panesar (SLA)
15.Jones (RF)
16.Harmison (RF)
17.Broad (RMF)
18.Davies (RFM)

In my opener vs NSW I won with Compton hitting a hundred. Broad took 4 wickets, but went at 5 an over in 2nd innings. Rashid took 6-105, Panesar 5 wickets. Jones 3 wickets. Chopra and Rashid hit half centuries.

Prior did have a broken finger, 3 days before game it says he is fit again, whether he is fit enough to play or whether Pettini, my back up keeper, plays I'm unsure. However, 1st test I think will be.

1. Cook
2. Trescothick
3. KP
4. Bell
5. Shah
6. Flintoff
7. Prior/Pettini
8. Rashid
