How are you doing in ICC? (any version)

Yes.

I'm about to do the ODI series. Wish me luck, I drop to second with a series defeat.

I got hammered even worse in the odi's lol. It was bad enough trying to play defensively to the left arm spinner,s, but when you try and get the batsmen playing very aggressively against them it can lead to some embarrassment, runs on the board are a good idea, also gives the batsmen a chance on a flatter, non spinning pitch. It didnt help that KP was massively off form, even a few nice innings from Fred couldnt help, think he made a 100 and a 50 in the odi series, but i lost every match. Bangladesh are too good on the game lol.

Well I won the series 3-0.

Tres, 91 and 78*.
KP 149 runs in the 3 games, 2 40's and a 60.
Davies took 8 wickets. Rashid and Panesar were good, if not destructive.
Bell had a 60* with Tres in the last game. Prior hit 37* from 23 balls to win the 2nd game from a perilious position, we needed 68 off the last 10 overs, and they had 8 overs of spin! Shah did well too.

Overall, a really good series win. Tres is my main man in ODIs, 7,300 runs, 20 100s and 42 50s. Good to see KP back in form, and I brought back Davies as he is a very good ODI bowler for me. Smith and Malick played in the last game, Malick, an all rounder, didn't get to bat, 0-51 from 10 overs. Smith however bowled 10-1-21-1 and I was delighted as he and Davies conceded 14 runs in the first 10 overs.

Vaughan might be injured for the 1st test vs WI, Tres doesn't play Tests for me, I might give Chopra a go, he's doing well.

Just finished my first season since I got addicted again.
Played with Northants. (ICC06ashes)
6th in the CT and Pro League, 3 in T20 group, not too bad, not too good.
The last match in FC: Somerset are 2nd on 221 points, but have played all their matches. I am third on 201, so if I get 20+ points I would get past them and promote. I played no. 5 Worcestershire.
They got 321, after I had them on 123/6 effectively (one rtrd hurt), thanks to a century by Gareth Batty and 77 by Solanki. I needed 300 for the bonus points, and after 246/8 I got to 308, great work by Panesar (31*).
Thanks to big top order partnerships Worcester got 366 in the second innings, leaving me with just over 3 sessions to get 380.
It turned out to be 101 overs. Wickets fell just a little too quick for my liking, so I eased the second session (from 140/4 to 243/5). Needed 137 from the last session with to batsmen on 50. One of them went quickly though, leaving my WK Hansen who hadn't scored a century yet, to play with the tail.
He went as the 9th wicket for 109. 39 more needed from Masood and Vineet Sharma. In what turned out to be 6 overs... 17 needed from 2 overs. 11 needed from 1 over... Only 8 made... Such a classic! Such a pity!

Lost the plot close to the end of my first season at Lancashire. (ICC III)

Slumped to 7th in CC and 5th in Pro-League.

Hampshire absolutely destroyed me, Lamb and Warne had a field day on a turning pitch.

Its fair to say I'm missing Murali and Flintoff who in currently in the World Cup.

Jim Bulman ftfw. I'm currently playing the 2010 away ashes, i lost the first test, with Tremlett getting injured in the process. I then drew the 2nd test, just, thanks to fantastic tail end batting from Munday and a great innings from Fred. 3rd test i thought we needed a change, so replaced Vaughan with Cook and also replaced Shah with Jim Bulman. Cook failed, but Bulman scored a magical, flawless 248*. We then managed to win the game by an innings and 126 runs, awesome achievement. 5 for Panessar in the 1st innings, 4 for Munday. Then Jimmy took 4 wickets in the 2nd innings with Fred taking 2, Munday taking 2. Broad was useless though, failed to take a wicket in either innings.

Won my first test vs WI by an innings and a 138 runs. I was 38-3 batting first after winning the toss, but KP and Shah put on 200 before Shah fell for a maiden 100 (110), then Kp and Flintoff put on 333 for the 5th wicket, a new record. Kp fell for 248. Flintoff got to 202* and I declared on 638-5.

Rashid took 5 wickets in the first innings, and Jones and Tremlett took 3 each in the second innings. Chopra debuted for the injured Vaughan, and made a duck. Tremlett on debut took 4 wickets for 120 runs.

Pietersen is now top of the batting Test rankings thanks to another 230 runs in the 2nd test. I lost the match, worryingly KP dropped 5 catches at 1st slip. I might bring Tres back in as Vaughan is in poor form. My bowling is now my weak point, Rashid is always good. Monty is in poor form, averaging 33 in 4 tests, Fred is averaging 39 in 4 tests. Tremlett has taken 8 wickets in 2 games and Jones isn't consistent.

Damnit!

Old Boys XI slump to Ashes defeat

Australia already won the series with 3 wins in 3 games, all by an innings and a pile of runs as they scored 600+ in both the 2nd and 3rd test.
Now we're in game 4 and as the pressure is gone my England Old Boys XI are performing a bit better.
At last a pitch with something in it for the spinners, that's why I picked two and it pays off: Salisbury took two and Crofty's keeping it tight.
Still a sizeable score by Australia, but we've been through tougher things:cheesy

19 byes! Who's your keeper?

Won the series vs WI with a match to go (3-1). Panesar taking a 10 Wicket haul in the 4th test. Tres is catching everything at first slip which is keeping Vaughan out, infact I think he won't play again due to poor form.

I lost the 2010 away Ashes series 2-1, was a really close series, and i was really unlucky to lose it. The whole series went down to the last session on the last day, but a collapse by my batsmen led to me losing the Ashes, oh well. Losing the ashes was made up for by WINNING THE WORLD CUP !!!!. I just sort of blagged my way through the tournament, not being impressive whatsoever but scraping my way through to the semis. I then beat the WI in the semi's thanks to an unbeaten 100 partnership between KP and Bell. Then in the final i won the toss and batted first, Harvey and KP made 50's with Freddie finishing the innings off with an unbeaten 68 to bring the total to 326 against a strong India side.

Then in India's reply they got off to a bad start with Jadhav and both Yuvraj's falling. Sehwag battled on through the innings though making 128 in the process. Then, with India cruising with Dhoni and Sehwag at the crease Freddie came into bowl. In an electrifying spell where he took 6 wickets for 10 runs England won the world cup. A truely magical performance from Big Fred, flawless apart from dropping Sehwag in the 70's. What a world cup, my first world cup win :D

Crawley:p

Well, we lost the 4th test, but at least we forced the Aussies to bat a second time.
Darren Gough, sent in as nightwatchman reached a half century!

:D Crawley?

I won the 5th match, taking their last wicket with the last ball of the game. KPs form has gone from awful to the sublime, averaging 62, hittting 2 double tons.

My team for Ashes:

Cook
Tres
KP
Bell
Shah
Flintoff
Prior
Rashid
Jones
Tremlett/Harmison
Panesar

Tremlett took 18 wickets vs WI but cost 38, Harmison had a good last season but was expensive. I think I'll play Harmison tbh. Flintoff has passed 300 and 200 Test and ODI (respectively) wickets. Panesar 250 wickets, Jones 170, Rashid 96. Cook and KP average over 60, Bell 50 odd, Shah has done well since coming back into the team with 2 hundreds. Prior has improved over the summer and is just short of 2000 runs in 43 tests, averaging 38.

Thats my team and if your wondering why im 5th its a new season and only played one game (which i won by an innings and 256 runs) so yeah and i have won everything for the past 3 years on the game. I just had to wait for my team to mature a bit as i braught in a lot of youths. i got a new sav file if anyone wants it its 2031:p
