How are you doing in ICC? (any version)

After winning the world cup quite comfortably, and the first test against Sri Lanka, Australia were going great.

Or so i thought....

It's amazing how much a key player actually means to a team, Brett Lee broke a rib in the 2nd Sri Lanka test and will miss 5 weeks..

2nd Test, Sri Lanka - Lost

1st Test, India - Scrappy draw, would have lost if not for a magical 205 from Mr. Cricket.

I have to open the bowling with Johnson and Clark, have just debuted Hilfenhaus (Tait was terribly out of form) and struggling in the spin department.

2nd test - Won easily, Clark, Watson and Hilfenhaus all bowled extremely well on a batsmens pitch.

Watson also made 91 in the first innings.

After losing the 3rd Ashes test I got worried, however I won the 4th and 5th tests, thanks to Langer and Clark in the 4th test. And debutant Callum Ferguson and McGrath (8 wickets) in the final test. I gave Symonds and Dorey a game too in the final match as the series was wrapped up. 4-1 without Ponting for 4 of the games.

Taking on the Derbys challenge once again with my sav files seemingly not corrupting, first game in i was all out for around 400 with no one scoring a century.

Ive remembered that Graeme Wagg is ALWAYS! the most expensive bowler but with my lack of talent in my first year a bits and pieces player is better than a squad filler.

Ojha isnt the god that people say he is it seems, just hoping he isnt one of those sub continent players which magically vanish

I retract my previous statement :p

i just started a game as nottinghamshire. i got a youth bowler who had an average of about 24 and he has continued his good average here taking two 4wickets in two matches. i hav lost both my od games and i have one win one draw and one loss in cc

wha year?

First season.

Clarke came into the ODI side and has done well. I'm iffy on the bowling and finding a fifth bowler, I think I'll bring Watson into the side as Symonds is a bit expensive.

I've started a new season as Kent. They have too many kolpak players for my liking so they'll be a few changes at the end of the season.

Ive found Symonds to be very useful on a turning wicket, only rarely gets smashed... I still prefer Watson but

Neither have done much with the ball for me tbh. I won the CB Series, Bracken did well. McGrath and Lee were poor. The real winners were the batsman, all contributed.

Johnson

Hogg and Tait played 2 games each. Tait did well tbh, 4 wickets. Hogg was iffy. I could've used Warne (he was available) I chose not to, for realism.

Ireland are a big bogey side for me with Middlesex. Just lost to them yet again. Damn!

Yea Ojha....he is a gun....search him on youtube there is one vid and he bowls an awesome delivery

If you were committed you would give a link :p (Yes im in a lazy mood)

Horrible technique by the batsmen :p but he bowls tight to the stumps which I think is something spinners dont do enough
