How are you doing in ICC? (any version)

Lamest thing just happened.

I'm in 2011, just starting the 5-test series against SA. Picked a fairly normal 12 heading into the first test, with my 11'th player being either the spinner, or another pace-men, depending on conditions.

Clicked continue, and SA have injured Jaques, after I had already picked him.

My 11 heading into the first test is -

Pomersbach (norm at 5)
Allsop (gun regen)
Clarke
Blair (very promising regen)
White
Johnson (yes, Mitch)
Haddin
Siddle
Cameron
Vincent (refer to Blair)
Cullen

I am aware Cullen is tripe, but his figures were okay, and I needed a frontliner.

I am royally fooked here, right now I'm sitting 11/2, and down that specialist batsmen.

I get pretty frustrated when I get a team down to about 6/150 or so, and then they end up all out for 300 - 400. I've had tons of bowlers get break their high score and even make centuries. I'm not annoyed when it happens to me though. Managed to get Shane Bond to 100 for Hampshire.

Never happens to me. Must be your bowling attack.

What's the highest anyone has gotten Bangers in the test rankings? I have them at 6th at the moment, with two of the top three batsmen in the world and the eighth best bowler in the world. This is in 2017. Would like to know if anyone has gotten them to the top, because that is the plan. I have trouble with winning though, it's actually tricky to do.

2nd in tests and 6th in ODI's as of 25th March 2012.

I'm starting a fresh with Kent on ICC 3 i will let you know how i get on.

NZ Aren't that hard to beat =/

If you demolished Australia playing as NZ it'd be better.

Still pretty impressive when I got the game yesterday.

I am playing South Africa atm, finished the test series, onto the Commonwealth Bank One Day Tri-Series.

Just finished my second or third season with Essex on ICC06. Won the County Championship and the Pro League, whilst coming runner up in the Twenty20 Cup. Weerakoon took 112 wickets, the top performer in the season, which was our only award. Afridi, Jefferson and Harvey(regen) all scored 1000 runs with Cook, Bopara, Crawley, Napier and Woodward(regen) not that far behind. Afridi took 101 wickets which saw the spinners really tear apart the division. Loving my side at the moment. Get rid of Phillips and perhaps a poor regen, bring in some players and my side will be proper awesome. My first eleven is generally:

1. A.Cook
2. W.Jefferson
3. R.Bopara
4. S.Afridi
5. T.Harvey(regen)
6. M.Woodward(regen)
7. G.Napier
8. J.Crawley/J.Foster
9. S.Broad
10. S.Weerakoon
11. R.Sidebottom

Got depth in every area and can bat all the way down to 11 in some matches. Would like to bring in a good domestic spinner as I have relied on foreign spinners, which isn't bad I guess. Broad and Sidebottom were awesome signings last transfer market and I have good backup with Tudor and Saggers. Could do with a few more bowlers I guess. I have 4 openers and I wouldn't mind getting rid of Pettini for a better one as Cook goes away with England alot of the time. Varun Chopra impressed in the One Day format this season surprisingly which could see him a constant feature in the team if Cook isn't present. Jefferson has scored 1000+ runs every season for me and is generally my best batsman at the moment. Saying that, Harvey is catching him up and is already getting called up for England like Woodward. Hopefully I can pick up some more decent players in the next transfer market. I always look forward to end of season.
