Started a new game as Durham, and had 40.5k budget left. I needed an overseas player, and the cheapest was Jeet Raval, who should really be asking for more than $24k. I offered him 20.5k 4 times in a row, and the fourth time he accepted it This means I have 20k to spend on improving the youth training program

First FC match of Season 3 with Durham (not including University matches). Blackwell played great scoring 81* and taking 4/60 and 5/49 while Di Venuto scored 119 and Onions took 5/83 and 4/67 as 2 hours of rain cost me a win as I scored 502 and they scored 320 and 212/9 so if 2 hours of the last day hadn't been washed out, I would have won.

Di Venuto's still playing in my save at 40, I released him last season though.
IIRC he's now playing for Lancashire.

There is nothing like a 1st wicket partnership of 200 to kick off a new season. Both reached their century in the same over, on a bowlers paradise no less.

WTF. I've lost all 5 CT matches so far this season with Durham. My batsman just aren't performing. 4 wins and a draw in 5 FC matches but I can't win the OD stuff.

I just scored 252/1 in a T20 game as Durham

Di Venuto opened and ended up with 127 off 54 with 22 fours and 2 sixes. A regen Robson opened with him and only scored 5 off 6. Once he was out Hopper (also a regen) came in, and hit 118 off 62 with 19 fours and 1 six

My highest T20 score yet The bowlers got equally flogged though Anderson and Nel fared the best. Hopefully I can own up in the bowling too lol

It wasn't Di Venuto's highest T20 score though, he got 130* last year. And Hooper averages 61.17 from his 15 T20s with 3 not outs, and 6 50s, including one at T20I level. His S/R is 158.86 too.

Hooper also has 6 wickets at 16 with an E/R of 7.38

New member here but been playing ICC since time began

on 06 as I'm fond of the 2D graphics .

Playing as Lancashire and in my 3rd season and about to wrap up the CC for the 3rd year running . Lost out on the T20 in the semi's to Yorkshire:.

So far I have won:-

My best batsman is probably M.North (Australian K) and my best bowler is M.Asif who has a average of 11.78 in FC and 18.45 in One Day

Best Youngster is probably P.Gould who I've had since he was 18 (now 20). His form comes and goes so hoping the technique training begins to kick (been on it 3 seasons now)

I decided to play with SA and use all their guns and see how they perform. Unfortunately the batting has been pretty poor, Pelser not showing his great abillity, neither Roussow. Vilas has batted pretty well as a keeper batsman and AB has been my best batsman. Amla's done alright as well. Calvin Flowers is an absolute legend though. In the OD series against the WI, he took

3/42, 2/56, 3/64, 1/42 and 3/42, 12 wickets @ 20.50 in 5 matches

But his Test record has been superb in his first 3 Tests. In the 6 innings, he has taken:

4/75, 1/57, 5/132, 5/79, 5/44 and 4/93. 24 wickets @ 20.00.

Currently 2-0 up in the Test series, needing 247 to win to make it 3-0.

They've (the developers) mentioned that it takes time for players to settle into international cricket and do well.

That would explain why Dale Steyn is picked over Ethan O'Reilly to start off with and AB de Villiers is suggested as my #3 batsman even though he has the worst rating in my top 5 batting.

Well Pelser is playing ████. In 6 tests, he has only scored 2 50's with an average of 33 and in 8 ODI's, he averages 18. He better start playing well soon or I'm going to drop him.

I thought that was a good idea so I did the same. Just got beaten in the first T20 against India because Jadeja and Zaheer put on 40 for the last wicket, Zaheer scoring 33 off 17 and hitting 4 fours in a row off the last over to win.

The one difference I'm making is that the players have to be under 25 (apart from AB the captain)

That must be the reason why the randoms aren't picked in the first season.

Normally for 2010 the teams use their proper teams from real life, but after that all the regens and overrated players come along.
