How are you doing in your career?

Anyone know how to start a career of a current player not in a international squad. Wanted to start a save as a young county player like Dan Lawrence and work his way into england squad etc. Seens you can only start as a ‘star player’ already playing internationally, unless i’m missing something.

Three years in and still no chance at any selection at any level lol.
Averaging 40 in club cricket playing on Hard
My rating is only 50 though

Anybody found out where players age is viewable in career mode screens , looked everywhere but can’t find it

Started off playing with Claremont in Western Australia and after a few seasons I was getting selected for the WA teams. After a couple of decent seasons I got selected for the New Zealand T20 series.
Game times were conflicting with the Australian T20 series so I only played 1 maybe 2 games of that season before it ended. At this stage, my player jumped from a 54 rating to an 84 rating with most of my batting stats shooting up from 50-60 up to 90-100 (6 of them are at 99 or 100) and my fielding stats jumped from 30/40 to 50-60.

Anyone else come across this bug?

Yesterday I started Career as an Aggressive Top order batsman with Normal selection, Hard batting difficulty and Legend AI. I was able to score very easily till 25-30 runs and at 120%+ strike rate, but would end up losing my wicket before reaching 50. This was the case throughout my 1st season of club 3 day matches and ODIs and T20s.

So I moved to Medium batting difficulty and felt no difference with Hard batting difficulty. Has anyone else felt this way?

Also I remember that in DBC 17, playing aggressive would result in much lower scores early in the career.

Got to 65 in my career last night and suddenly jumped to 85 with some stats on 99 as someone else said earlier in this thread. Would have preferred to build up slowly so quite annoying.

I agree that batting difficulty between Hard and Medium is very little difference that i could notice and my 58 rated batsman could score at 120% + strike rate in first class cricket ( went on easiest selection just to get through club games ) . Changing match difficulty from Pro to Veteran helped make more challenging game , and also concurr that slow and steady , leaving green balls , and wide orange ones early on would help build innings

Im in my 4th season of club...tiresome. i was rubbish to start with-Batting ave was 15 after 2 seasons. Now up to 23 with 3x100s and a few 50s but nowhere near the state squad! Help.

Drop the batting difficulty level to Medium (if not Easy)!

Is there a way to fix the team lineup in career mode?
