my AI runner who is already out of the crease (during the bowlers run up) get him self run out.

I stoped doing so after losing 4 wickets in same fashion.

If you press B (or circle on PS3) as soon as you realise there is no run on offer the AI will turn back into the crease. Same as when you're at the non-strikers end. I only discovered I had to do this after being run out a few times myself.

I know this but trust me it happens in split second no chance to get back at all. I play with batsman near cam and its kind of cut scene from one cam to the other and he is run out.

Oh ok no worries then. The only times I've been run out have been when I didn't know a fielder was there or when the ball is pinged in and I've not got back into my crease yet. I kinda figured this was the same scenario.

What's weird about career mode so far (aside from the 200 run 9th/10th wicket partnerships which I believe is being patched) is that I've only faced spin bowlers...
Could be related to the same player mapping bug.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was. I'd basically be taking anything like that in career mode with a grain of salt until the patch.

I'm 99.9% certain it is. I get a lot of mediums, which I'm not complaining about! Actually since I've learnt how to defend I much prefer facing mediums and fasts rather than spinners. Spinners are easier to play general shots to, but the field is always in and it's easy to miscue. Pace bowlers are easier to defend against and play lofted shots too.

In other news, I've just finished my 2nd shield season and got offered a county and P40 contract. I'm apparently 'very close' to test and ODI selection, which obviously isn't that good considering I'm a bowling allrounder only playing pro mode. My batting average and bowling average are around the same though, Seven

I seem to be getting into a very bad routine of always running my first batting partner out. Which seriously sucks when they are in their 90's
Then i keep swearing at myself when i go out playing stupid shots. I can see the AI setting something up, and then i still end up falling for it. In reverse, i seriously enjoy setting up the batsman when i am bowling. Must be honest though, i bat at #5 and i get a nice mix of bowlers. I get spinners, fast and medium guys. I also dont really have issues with drop catching (as a bowler). I tend to automatically flick the right hand joystick as soon as i have bowled, so that might be helping with that issue. So my bowling action is basically flick down, flick up, flick up

In the 44th over of a 50 over game. Opposition needed 37 off 36.
I went 3-1-8-3.

Turns out I'm actually a specialist bowler

Edit: MOTM award too. Probably not for my 1 run.

Currently I am playing in Australia, but I want to move to English County, and on my selections page it says, "English County - Regular Member", now do I have to wait for the season to end before I can move to a county side?
