How are you doing in your career?

I have found (pre-patch) that you go for a comfortable single and suddenly discover that your partner has the fitness levels of David Boon after a trans-Atlantic flight and basically crawls between the wickets and is run out.

Still happens post patch. Occasionally one of the batsmen at the crease takes off way too late, and on the "running between the wkts" HUD looks like he's starting 5 yards behind the non-striker end. Don't know why that happens coz it occasionally happens with a new batsman at the crease and the fatigue level is nearly non-existent so fitness/fatigue shouldn't be an issue.

I just started a bowling career. I noticed that I replaced our specialist spinner in the batting order but I'm bowling pace. We're now going into games with 5 quicks and no spinner. How does the game take account of this? For example as well what would happen if I had managed to replace the keeper in the batting order?

I wasn't getting a review option when bowling so I guess my teammates must have used it. Is there anyway we can tell?
I had one plumb lbw and not given and no review option came up.

Dammit - I spent 2+ hours fielding either in third man or fine leg or slip or gully or short fine leg watching the batsman from the side or back and after about 45 overs they were 210 all out. I got to touch the ball like 3 times. That's it. And once was to get it as it went past me.

I then got bowled the second ball I faced.

I switched off my PS3 after that....

So annoying, I get tons of bad decisions in county championship where I can't review them but they're nearly always correct in OD cricket . I have now dropped to 'no chance' of playing in the sheffield shield.

Erm yeh. You hit the ball to the boundary if you want to be agressive and play defensively if you want to be more conservative... .

Edit : Oh yeh, and I still can't bat... Averaging about 15 in all formats after the first season.

I just scored 50 in my 2nd first class innings.

Batting order?

In career mode do we get to bat in the batting order what we originally selected when creating the career player? or it is based on every game and your batting performance? Please let me know. thanks

I did it. Double ton in just 154 unfortunately got out trying to run the ball down to fine leg. Played it straight to square leg
