How are you doing in your career?

After the patch yesterday i went back to my career on pro which had stalled some time back as i averaged 9.6 in first class batting at 5 (specialist bat) in 78 innings with a high score of 50. First game on pro for weeks and i made 27 from 55 and a match-winning 65n.o. in the 4th innings. Loved it, thank you!

I can see lots of balls are now being bowled on Off Side line. So that's is the end of my Bread & Butter shots for Career Mode. The real test will start now, no more slogging and pulling towards leg side..

Oh yeah! It takes a while to adjust to the new line, but once you've done that, your shots are almost evenly distributed in all areas. Personally, I despised leg glancing every ball and I'm glad it happens infrequently now.

I've generally tended towards playing the game how I (try) to play in real life. Which is primarily looking to play leg side most of the time...that is until the spinners come on and I start pulling out the reverse sweep!

Trying to play more and more off side shots......but because of timing edges are frequent.......
And yes AI are bowling with a lot of variations..

Agree with that. I got into the England team and for some reason they're wearing whites for ODI and T20 (with black pads!) and now I'm stuck with it...

As for my career, got selected as Essex captain and this captaincy thing sure does seem fun. Talking of which, since I've been picked in the England t-20 squad, my batting's been a horror but I've been able to take wickets with ease. It's just a suggestion and I believe someone else posted the same - could we have a system implemented which would allow the realism to the fact that in case a player isn't performing at top of the order but is able to contribute with the ball - can't the player be shifted to middle order or something! Moreover, if I'm an opener for Essex and I get selected for England test side, there's no way I'd replace Cook in the side, I'd rather be picked to play at 5th or 6th down, could something be done in this regard?

Unlucky. Out on 97. shot went on off side rather than intended on side. Never try to clear the field when a fielder is on boundary!

I'd like to thank the middle order for getting confused between a test match and a limited overs match. Stood at the non-strikers end and watched them block ball after ball as the RPO tumbled.

I think this is might be to do with get best teams? Maybe check the created teams you downloaded have the correct kits?
