I love Math! [For all math lovers]

All maths lovers!

What is 1+2+3+4+....... upto infinity?

Infinity?

----------

Wait until you've to deal with Vector Calculus. :p

What is it?

----------

I could never understand vectors properly. Probably why I didn't pursue science after school.

If you're doing a Maths degree, then maybe you might come across Vectors again, but even in Engineering or Physics, you're unlikely to, and you'll absolutely never come across it in a field where Biology or Chemistry is the basis, e.g. Medicine.

Maths is really hard! You'll find very few math lovers in the world. About a year ago I loved math but now I just hate it.

Ok I've one question. Is it compulsory to study maths in class 12 to do bca?

In Tamil nadu if you choose 3rd group in class 11 which will have Computer science, commerce, economics & accountancy you can take Bca,Bsc (CT,IT etc) in college. But i don't know about other states if you have the same kinda group in your state in class 11 choose it so that you can study Bca without studying maths in class 12.

Maths is really hard!
You guys aren't exploiting Math! It's the only subject you don't need to study at all! You'll not get bored studying it. I never touched the book before my 10th boards and yet got 100%

Which board btw?

IIT-JEE Maths is grinding though, but if you get the trick, you'll look back and say it was damn eeaassyy! :p

The Guru Gobind Singh IP University BCA exam (2006) had Maths, Physics, Chemistry(IIRC), and Computers. It was all pretty basic, but we definitely required a lot of logic.

Nah! It's -(1/12)
Unbelievable right? :p

May I ask for the explanation if you are in a position to provide one? I would really like to know what method or logic is used for that answer to be derived. :yes

Here you go. I was searching for maths tricks online and found it.

How can the sum of 2 positive numbers ever be negative? It's just not possible, how much ever of a spin you may put on it.
Havent watched the video, but its just not possible, basic maths. I'm assuming they are trying to confuse people.

That's what I thought! It's used in Physics though, checked it up on the internet, should be correct.

And another thing, the sum of 2 natural numbers can never be a fraction. Christ...
