I love Math! [For all math lovers]

I think they are very smartly trying to put a couple of steps which are wrong in whole bunch of confusing steps. Makes me remember how we used to do when we convinced almost everyone that 1=2!

I looked it up, its part of some Ramanujan SummationRamanujan summation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. They dont say that it is the actual sum, nor does it tend to that value(as it obviously tends to infinite), they say its something to do with partial sums, which I don't know shit about.

Anyhow, its not the actual sum which the video is trying to imply.

I have heard about Srinivas Ramanujan Iyengar and his famous stories but like you, I am no Ramanujan either. :p

I've seen that video before. I think it's a specific mathematical method for use in specific mathematical fields. For common math, I think the step where they assume averages is what makes all the difference. I'll watch the video again and see if I can comment more. Not that I'm some kind of mathematical authority or something. :p

What is it?

To put in brief, you differentiate and integrate in vector quantities or fields. Example, measuring the chance in magnetic field B (vector field) with respect to the "space". There are obviously technicalities, but I don't understand them well enough to give a concise description. Let's just say it is almost impossible for advanced physics to be done without vector calculus.

^No wonder why Physics scared the shit out of me! Liked maths though, wasn't briiliant but good enough. Changed my stream after +2.

You guys aren't exploiting Math! It's the only subject you don't need to study at all! You'll not get bored studying it. I never touched the book before my 10th boards and yet got 100%

Which board btw?

IIT-JEE Maths is grinding though, but if you get the trick, you'll look back and say it was damn eeaassyy! :p

you are genius mate. Big salute to you! I hope I can score like you in Maths.

4 people got 100 from my school. It's very very easy to score in maths. Just stick to the basics and understand the concept.

Well Physics and maths are very close together, if you can do physics you should definately be able to do maths, but i understand where you are coming from, i think it is becuase maths is boring, so you pay less attention, at least in physics you get to do practical stuff! Just try you best mate, thats all you can do in life!!

Integration integration everywhere in 3rd semester syllabus.:(

I had a thing for quadratic equations :D
