My opinion is that maths is good, and anyone who says it is dull and pointless just isn't very good at it. If you don't reckon you'll have a career which involves maths, that's your fault, you probably just don't have what maths takes. Of all subjects, it is the truest test of intelligence I reckon.

Hang on. I am really good at maths. I have got A+s in nearly all of my tests. But I can not STAND it. Simply because it is so boring and time consuming I literally do fall asleep.

Neither are too difficult conceptually. Integration gets insane though, it's probably the thing I'm stuggling with most in the first year of a physics degree. I can do most of the ones I come across but some of them require 3 or 4 substitutions before they work.
