I love Math! [For all math lovers]

@ thread starter....

If you study, you will not fail ==> s=df----->(1)
If you don't study You will fail==> ds=f----->(2)

Adding (1) and (2)
S+DS=F+DF
Taking S & F common on LHS and RHS respectively.

S(1+D)=F(1+D)
Canceling (1+D) on both sides..

S=F
Study =Fail..
Hence proved using Math concepts...

So no no should study from today:cheers:cheers:cheers:p:p:p

That was just for fun....

So you posted the same stuff here and also created a thread?:mad

yeah maths is an interesting subject indeed.its a composition with logical thinking, analysis,reciting numbers and many more.

I'm lovein it!!!!!

binnu btw maths is not a subject for studying in my view. its an art of playing with numbers.

Neither are too difficult conceptually. Integration gets insane though, it's probably the thing I'm stuggling with most in the first year of a physics degree. I can do most of the ones I come across but some of them require 3 or 4 substitutions before they work.

That's cool, but in statics i always get 40/40 :D I hate maths 1 (Integration Derivatives :mad:)

But then Integration and Derivatives make life MUCH easier in Physics as well.

There are some who love there are some who hate :cool: i got 140/150 in SSC (10th), friend of mine just love Derivatives solves within minutes whereas i take 15 mins to solve a 2 or 4 marks problems ;)

Loved Statistics always, just formulas nothing much, straight forward :)

I love algebra,graphical solutions,arithmtic,logarithms but I really hate Geometery.:mad:

It frustrates the hell outta me!!!!!!!!:eek:
What class you in mate? Because once you enter Class 11'th + in CBSE board, "Graphical stuff" basically coordianate geometry, and geometry become one and the same thing. Yeah really.

Yeah Equation solving, is what i loved and i hate Trigonometry which is considered as the captain of Mathematics but still can solve it but it takes me time because every now and then i have to refer to the Formula page ;)

ahh, a stat lover:cheers.
stat is easy, just to solve some regression,normal,possion,and some beta function :p.
expect some part of time series and sampling

I suck at maths even though I find it interesting as a subject, I'm more an english man myself and have read a couple of good biographies on mathematicians.

I'm in here though to demand that anyone with an interest in maths, art, life, beauty, read A Mathematicians Apology by GH Hardy. he was was a massive cricket fan too so there's some stuff in there about cricket. amazing book.

It's quite interesting to notice that Maths is a lot more popular with the Indian members. Is there quite a big emphasis on Maths in India? I know in Britain, it was always thought of as Maths being a bit of a geeky subject and the Arts were a bit more popular
