Maths is without a doubt a very important subject. Its applications are not just limited to science. Maths can be used to create art as well. Those that think maths is worthless are just bad at it. That said everyone doesn't need to like maths. I'm not really interested in doing maths for the sake of it. If it doesn't have any applications related to my work, I find it pointless.
