I think I read somewhere that England might send a second XI if it's in Pakistan as well.

well thats good for us, if england don't care about their second XI blown apart in the game not as a attack because that is unlikely. ;P

No offence, I'm ashamed of this world.

I wouldn't send a first eleven if it was in Pakistan. Too risky.

So your 1st XI's lives are "more important" than your 2nd XI?

Sheesh, somebody could seriously sue the ECB if they sent a 2nd XI...

Besides Lee, you guys toured in 2005, no problems then. No problems now

If I had the chance of representing my country i'd play cricket in bloody Afghanistan!

What difference does it make if a first XI tours or a second XI does? They're still people, if they get in trouble its still a problem.

Just do it, England. If you have trouble, India is just a quick jog away :p

Good point. Amazingly devaluing the lives of the second XI there. Second thoughts - I wouldn't send anyone.

Pakistan is more dangerous now than it was in 2005.

If the hotel is bombed, the players won't be doing much jogging!

lol, i can see why England would play Afghans, it would be a good series though, tough to decide who's gonne win. :D

Taaliban beat England A by an innings and 304 runs. Matt golden duck.

Australian players body wary of Pakistan security threat

The Australian Cricketers Association (ACA) remain unconvinced there is a safe and secure environment to hold this year's Champions Trophy tournament in Pakistan.

Paul Marsh, chief executive of the ACA, said on Wednesday security consultants hired by the International Cricket Council and Cricket Australia had identified threats in Pakistan.

Thats one of the worst websites on the internet, i won't ever click that nor trust any thing whatsoever it says.

Even though, we all know ICC CT will be moved from Pakistan, but thats a different story.

Hayden 'open' to touring Pakistan

The opportunity to defend Australia's Champions trophy title could lure Matthew Hayden, the opening batsman, into touring Pakistan in September, despite fears of player safety during the tournament. Hayden, who wasn't part of the 2006 edition in India, said he would make his decision based on the security briefings by Cricket Australia.

The ICC has ruled that Pakistan will be the hosts for the ICC Champions Trophy.

More news to follow I expect.

Are you an expert on the security of Pakistan? Are you even remotely close to Pakistan? Have you even been to Pakistan?

Lets compare that with me, who LIVES in Pakistan, and HOLDS a US Citizenship.

I think the Taliban and Afghanis would try to kill me no matter what.

Hasn't happened yet, my friend.

Australia should be made to play in the tribal villages. :D
