i did, they did good in the last champions trophy and they aren't as bad as everyone thinks. how they do against Sri Lanka in the upcoming ODIs will show if they have what it takes to win.

Why is every one underestimating the Windies ? The subcontinent has flat pitches and the Windies can be deadly,esp Chris Gayle. Also,ppl like Bravo can bowl good yorkers at the death.
Underestimate them at your own peril.

yea, I think that Jerome Taylor has found the form that he was in in the last champions trophy. they will need to find a good ODI spinner ie Dave Mohammed and another good quick.

S Benn is a good Spinner, He have been pick for the S.L match. if he can prove his spin in this one, he could be a good spinner for The ICC08.

I have a feeling that all teams will play this tournament (which means Aussies will also come). Its an ICC tournament and its prestigious too and I am confident that the Aussies wont want to miss out. If all other teams come to the country to play, then Australia would look like fools and they wont let it happen

I feel India and Australia/Pakistan will go from Group A. Cant underestimate Pakistan since its their home ground. Had it been anywhere else, I would have 100% said India and Australia. But I am confident on India's abilitites to enter the next round. I have voted on India for the tournament not only becoz they are my home team and favorite, but they have a good young team with the brilliant support of their senior pro, Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin's form coupled with the youngsters makes it a deadly combo.

Mohammad is one of my favorite, but his head is kind of mess up.
If i had to pick a W.I Mohammed would be in my Top 15.

U are right in the 1996 wc the oz refused to come because the LTTE was doing a lot of carnage there
