We are doing well in ODI cricket as it is, but in a multi team tournament we seem to fall apart. It would be fantastic to get the semi finals, let alone win it.

I don't think India will win it. The asian teams have been like this since forever. They play good for some part of the year and then get back to their poor form. Look at Sri Lanka. In the World Cup last year, they were thought of as one of the only 2 or 3 teams who could beat Australia in the World Cup. They played well, but couldn't win because of rain. And now they are nowhere close to beating Australia. So something of this sort is going to happen to India too.

India to finish top, Australia second.

some of the non-indian members have some faith in india and thats good after the recent ODI exploit. but india has not shown the required consistency to warrant the favorites tag. most of the voters for india in this thread's poll vote out of patriotism (including me, i never vote for a team other than india). hope india can keep up their good form and win the tournament.

I dont get it-Even Sri Lanka is being bombed regularly.Why shift it there ? Rather they should shift it to U.A.E if they want to,that would fetch them big fat revenues.
