My predictions:

India to finish top, Australia second.

South Africa to finish top, New Zealand second.

Winner: India

Group A has the power houses in Australia and India, though Group B has more even competition. All 4 teams could sneak in, where as West Indies and to a lesser degree Pakistan haven't been playing top ODI cricket of late.

On current form you'd think the above prediction would be right, but it's a long way off yet.

Well ya..You can't predict sure for Knock out..But i still think Group A will be more settled than B..I still don't think Ausralia Should come to play because its very dangerous for them in Pakistan...Every terrorist group is waiting for them,..So..May Be they include bangladesh instead of Aussis..

It sounds silly, but I don't think that India can succeed in subcontinental conditions as they have in Australia. Ishant Sharma may not be able to bowl with such pace and bounce and on flatter pitches, the application of the young batsmen to convert starts to quick, high scores will be tested.

Windies-Australia, Pakistan and India disappointed again.

I hope i'm wrong. I would love India-West Indies to go through. I love the West Indian team!
But if Pakistan go through we'll have a chance for an India-Pakistan final. If Australia and India go through we have a chance for an India -Australia final.

Lets hope we have a good tournament.

One thing i'm willing to put (small amounts) of money on: Australia will not win .
