ICC Champions Trophy 2017

I agree with you. I think we need to show some faith in him. He's good enough to bat 6 with Jadeja 7. I also think if we are in a situation like 100-4 we can use Ashwin at 6 and hold Pandya back! The moment Hardik goes out, Dhoni will become the chief finisher and once again have to bat with all that pressure. I think Jadhav is a poor fielder, Hardik a brilliant one and he has all the tools to be our finisher in the long run. Jadhav is casual, lazy and just doesn't give me the feeling he can go big as Dhoni in the past and Pandya now.

Jadhav can bat very calmly under any situation you put him in. Pandya comes no where in front of Jadhav ( in batting ofcourse ). Jadhav can slog from the word go, if required. Only drawback we have if we drop Pandya is his amazing fielding.

Mustafizur has surprisingly ineffective this tournament, considering that these conditions should suit him. It seems he has lost his magic after injury.

Look who is out of the den. Good to see you welcome back. :D:lol

Thank you Rahul, still struggling with those stick animations I see.[DOUBLEPOST=1497537580][/DOUBLEPOST]
As u know, Villains don't even fear death ;)

Great to see this duo of Dhawan and Rohit perform so good each time, this is looking like an easy chase. Great going.
They dont embrace it either. I do however. Have they ever failed in competitions?

Hope Bangladesh don't make people miss the presence of either New Zealand or Australia in the semifinals. Their batting was so underwhelming especially after the 30th over till the end. And they have let Rohit-Dhawan set a great platform and are awaiting the rest of the Indian batters to take full advantage.

Great show from India so far! After that Tamim-Mushfiqur partnership, they have applied their choke at Bangladeshi throats, in clinical precision so far. Fantastic tournament for Dhawan. He looks all set to get his second consecutive "Champions Trophy Man of the Series" award. All his competitors for the most runs of the tournament have bowed out of the tournament.

Yeah I don't embrace it but always on the edge, taking risks.
BTW, I trust your predictions: Who will be lifting the champions trophy? Blue or Green?

I think it will be India, if they get past Bangladesh today. Considering that Kennington Oval is a batting feast of a ground in this Champions Trophy with almost no help for the bowlers, Pakistan bowling could face a tough time against India's in-form batsmen. And India's bowling is tight enough to keep Pakistan batting in check. I will back India all the way in the final, if they get there. And this time, no "reverse jinxing" business. If Pakistan win the final against India (if India gets there), it will be a very special win for them and I will take my hats off to them. But my money is on India.

Rohit Sharma absolutely in the zone today. He loves Bangladesh. He got a century in that 2015 WC quarterfinal also. Though I do not like the way he bats in the first 10 overs (he plays too many dot balls and tries to make up for it with a boundaries, which to me is not the way for an opener to play), he is getting loads of runs and is a treat to watch when he is in this kind of a flow.

India's bossing this chase! And their scoring rate is very healthy too. If a wicket falls here, I would hope to see Jadhav get much needed time in the middle. We dont need Yuvraj or Dhoni next as they have had a good innings apiece in this tournament. Jadhav and Pandya need to bat, more so Jadhav.

The fearless never take risks or live on the edge, we do cross that line.

Pakistan wants the win more, you could tell that from their game against England, theyve KO the top favs in this tournament. India have two guys I adore in Kohli and Yuvraj, they coincidentally made the difference last time.

Forgot Hardik's calm, 80 against Bangladesh in the Warm-Up?

Well, what a boring game!!

Supports the beliefs of @kushal17 about having 5 teams! I really hope the final isn't this one-sided.
