ICC Champions Trophy 2017

The fearless never take risks or live on the edge, we do cross that line.

Pakistan wants the win more, you could tell that from their game against England, theyve KO the top favs in this tournament. India have two guys I adore in Kohli and Yuvraj, they coincidentally made the difference last time.
Yes, I need to learn that from you.

That is not a clear answer. Who will win? Blue or Green? Please pick one, my friend.[DOUBLEPOST=1497539992][/DOUBLEPOST]Rohit and Kohli making it look easy.

Green.

This is perhaps the first period in Indian cricketing history when they're the undisputed best team in the world. Even when they won the World Cup and were number 1 in Test rankings around 2011, there was a (justified) feeling that they benefited from their pitches and South Africa was the superior team. There can be no such arguments now, they're in a completely different league when compared to the others. Have all bases covered and hardly any weaknesses. Winning the upcoming overseas test series will definitely cement this side as one of the greatest of all times.

So the rational posts on cricket are seen as attack on the country? Anyhow, I will stick to my views. If someone has no answer for them and they want to start bashing, your welcome.. I hope the admins here are vigiliant enough to judge who is talking what.

Coming to match, As predicted by many India's gonna easy win against bangladesh. The guys here were quite apprehensive. The final is gonna be a cracker and who would have thought that? :)

Is that a 'tongue in cheek' post? :p

We have the arsenal now, especially with the bowling stocks that have sprouted up in recent times but as it showed in that game against Sri Lanka, we do not have all bases covered. If we had encountered Australia or New Zealand in the semifinal, we could've easily been exposed. I am not so sure if we are the undisputed best. We can get there, but we need to improve in quite a few areas. I would say Australia is still ahead of us with their bowling and batting. Its unfortunate that Australia were robbed by the rain this tournament. They should have thumped Bangladesh in that game and if that had happened, today Australia would have faced India.

Good luck. Pakistan has indeed surpassed everyone's expectations. After that first match performance, they stood up although not completely. If Pakistan batting clicks they have more then good resources for bowling.Although being an Indian I would love an Indian win against Pakistan for Finals, if Pakistan wins I do not mind that as well.

Not call our cricketers scared for sure!

Dont take the scared word as offense. I have already answered to that. In the hay days of Ambrose and Walsh Pakistani batsmen used to get scared like anyone against them. So were Indian batsmen in the times of Shoaib Akhtar. And that is my view. Take a chill

No, that was not tongue in cheek at all. Completely meant it. The fact the four most scrutinised players in the Indian team at the moment - Pandya, Jadhav, Jadeja and Ashwin - will walk into most other sides is an indicator of the team's strength. Certain players can be improved upon for sure but right now, India will rightfully enter most, if not all, as favourites. They have shown their ability to outscore opponents, spin them out or even threaten them with pace/swing at times (which is where they need to improve the most). Most importantly, they've shown the resilience which separates great teams from good ones. Remember how many times the great Australian team (or even individuals like Langer) used to be under pressure before making an emphatic comeback? While India don't possess the same quality yet, they're making baby steps in that direction.

As for Australia, missing the semis was a massive shame. But the team is still very young and there are some decent talents coming up. Vital the number 4 to 7 spots are filled appropriately. A high-quality all-rounder is the missing piece in the jigsaw.

With this bowling attack and the set of batsmen we have, a lot of us Indian fans are genuinely excited to see how we fare when we tour Australia, England and South Africa in the upcoming year for the test series. With Kohli being an aggressive captain and also being backed with solid arsenal, this hopefully should be the era where we 'not just compete overseas, but start winning' series. A win in West Indies or New Zealand won't suffice. Its the triumvirate of Australia/England/South Africa where we need to win the test series.

It wasnt the young lineup that failed, it was the weather. Assuming Australia lost the first match to New Zealand, but winning the match against Bangladesh, and Bangladesh winning against New Zealand,

I am sure that bashing of Bangladesh would have them up in NRR. You are bound to lose one match in these competition.

Well done Rohit Sharma! Brilliant century. Now time for Kohli to add one to his name too. This is a thrashing. All set for a high voltage final on Sunday - India vs Pakistan!

That should calm the Bangladeshi fans down. As @SaiSrini said, this is a complete thrashing. This time no umpire decision going our way, this time no excuses.

What was the question? :rolleyes

Six vs Ashwin, scared the shite out of 'em etc is quite rational. Some bad knowledge about the word 'rational' I must say.

On topic: Rohit and Kohli sailing towards victory shutting some mouths off the pitch. I hope this is rational.[DOUBLEPOST=1497542496][/DOUBLEPOST]
:tick: Marked but won't happen 'coz it's India. ;)

All the shit talk of India losing against Bangladesh will be answered tomorrow when we win and all Paul the octopuses would get back to predicting the opposite for the finals again. :D
:rolleyes

Better to say this to your fellow members instead of spitting out your hate. Enough of it. Carry on with your hate.

Pakistan waiting for India for the finals. Its gonaa be fun. :)
