If there has been anything unfair for Pak, it has been the washout against SL. They were favorites to collect 2 points there.
Bro then you must look at his fielding in india's recent tour to england for the test series.I have not seen a worst fielder then KL Rahul. HE is just absolutely pathetic. He has dropped a catch every match. I know that six of Mortaza was not a catch but his fielding does not inspire me.
Yes, but in very close matches like that one it can be puzzling. Sounds like sour grapes, but whatever.I dont see anything wrong with NRR calculation. You need to settle at some metric for calculating NRR and it would be an almost impossible task to take wickets into consideration and would unnecessarily complicate a simple metric.
The team got all-out. So it gets penalized for that. That is quite fair. If they started calculating NRR based on the number of overs played, then teams would purposefully throw their wickets to score a quickfire 100 allout in 10 overs because the NRR would be 6 points higher than what they would achieve with 200/8 in 50 overs. It becomes highly prone to abuse
And regarding Pak-WI, they were absolutely thrashed by WI. Be it in while batting or bowling. So this clause barely matters in that game anyways
Yup i think its the fault of the way batting lineup is set up that is hindering MS at the moment.Nailed those two balls! What a bloody genius this guy is! BUMRAAAHHHH!!!!
As it showed, Bangladesh lose by 28 runs. India had 20-25 runs too many in the end. Can the Dhoni blame rest now? Both games, he played almost similarly at the death. We won today because we batted first and set a good platform at the start of the innings. Dhoni is not superhuman to come out, hit big despite playing on a very tough wicket. Everyone struggled today post the 30th over in both innings. Hardik got out for a duck. Karthik didn't middle it well and got out early. Dhoni prioritized staying out there and picking the right balls to hit (which rarely comes to him these days, as bowlers are getting smarter more than ever). Absolutely cant fault his approach. If Dhoni went for his shots and got out earlier than expected, the blame will go "oh he should've stuck it out till the end".
Never easy being the guy and I think this management (which rarely gets things right) is actually doing well to back Dhoni hard. Only thing I hope they do is bring Dhoni out at 5 (if not 4). One of Pandya or Pant should stay back behind Dhoni for late fireworks.
The weather has been better. It was a mixed bag with quite a bit of rain early on in the tournament creating stickier wickets earlier on.There has to be a mighty fine reason as to how we have suddenly got two roads when England were on the brink? Perhaps, things are just meant to be for them.

This "conspiracy" culture is deeply ingrained in the Pakistani mindset and isn't limited to cricket. Whatever issue or problem there is in the country, almost always there will be some external force to be blamed, whether it's "the jews", the Indians (RAW), "Western immorality", the Americans, Afghanis, Ahmedis etc.I have a genuine question to Pakistani fans about the shows on TV. Do people take these shows seriously? The Basit Ali show does more damage to Pakistan cricket and the mindset of the watching public than anything else. We had a phase where TV news would sit and create conspiracy theories on air around cricket. You cannot fool gullible audience with this horrible conspiracy theories. Pakistani cricket deserves better than shows like these. 2 days after the India Eng game, so-called sportsman are taking jibes at India. Its a larger problem. We as people do not do well in sport because we are not sporting as people. Must stop supporting this crap, both in India and Pakistan. India lost to England, and could have lost to Bangladesh today. Just that you guys would'nt have cared if India lost today because it didn't matter to you guys. Also special mention to Abdul Razzaq for involving Shami's religion on a cricket analysis show! Really! Our nations must grow up.
All this chanakya niti crap from our side and the Basit Ali like folks on the other have actually done damage to genuine banter that was going on between fans this World Cup. Guys like Osman Samiuddin, Sid Monga, Ahmer Naqwi must get more airtime and popularity. Folks like Gambhir and Basit are a cancer.
Well in India and Pakistan its never their fault but they always blame other for their problems. This "conspiracy" culture is deeply ingrained in the Pakistani mindset and isn't limited to cricket. Whatever issue or problem there is in the country, almost always there will be some external force to be blamed, whether it's "the jews", the Indians (RAW), "Western immorality", the Americans, Afghanis, Ahmedis etc.
The real culprits for most of Pakistan's problems, cricketing or otherwise, are hiding in plain sight.
