That was an amazing runout![DOUBLEPOST=1562766753][/DOUBLEPOST]And this here is the risk of taking it too deep, sometimes you leave too much on the plate to finish off.

Fantastic innings by Jadeja, should have been India’s number 7 years ago.
Was a great knock. Gave India a chance and set up an exciting finish.

New Zealand have been the subject of criticism for the way they got here but honestly, can you see Pakistan fielding the way they did in the death overs? Plenty of boundary opportunities that most other teams would have conceded under pressure were stopped clinically, a lot of doubles were prevented thanks to quick ground fielding and throws which is no mean feat when you’ve got MS and Jadeja running between the wickets. And finally, THAT runout.

New Zealand for me completely deserve to be here for their clinical performance when it mattered which is what counts in this semi-league format. Now if you would criticise the format of the tournament, I’m all ears for it...
The format is shite. But clearly it was India that got lucky with the washout in the league stage.

Well a run out in the first match and maybe a run out in his last match for India? I will be very emotional if Dhoni bows out now itself. Won't be surprised if we see an announcement soon.

New Zealand deserved to win that game. That was an awesome bowling performance by them to leave the Indian team in ruins. That was truly a magnificent game, it hurts knowing India couldn't go through but the Kiwis were on song today and deserved to go through to the final based on how they played today. I really do hope they go onto win the WC, I don't really want to see Australia win it again, and my ears will hurt if England win and their media goes crazy.

New Zealand in the final again, It might even be a repeat of the 2015 world cup.
Take a bow to MS Dhoni, had a Fantastic Career and a true Legend, happy to see him finish off with a 50.

I think the Kiwis have shut some mouths as well. They were said to be lucky to get to Semi-final and now they are in the Final. Feels like we would have repeat of 2015 WC, with NZ lifting the title ?

That was one hell of an innings from Jadeja. He never gave up and that was the spirit that took India so close to a win. Absolute brilliance and I hope he has shut up Manjrekar.
I've had a few arguments with people about how Jadeja should be a regular in India's lineup. Bowling and fielding at a high level. And really handy with the bat and can put in innings like he did today.

Dhoni tried his ass off to get that second run, it's been a fantastic career for him and sad to see he was outgunned by that bull's eye throw by Guptill. I'm glad that the Indian team did not capitulate and fought to the very last over and it was still a very good innings from Dhoni considering the circumstances India were in. Pleased to see a legend like Dhoni score something of respectability in the end, hats off to MSD.

He's seems like the sort of player, like Ben Stokes, that can do something special with bat, ball and in the field.

Thought during the England game - if Jadeja had been there at 8 - that result could have gone the other way.

He was surely fired up by the critics like that cockroach Manjrekar. He's always had the ability to play the way he did today, it's unfortunate he couldn't get the victory for his team. He's certainly not a bits and pieces cricketer or any of that bullshit. This man can properly be a superstar with either bat, ball or in the field.

TBH with India being out of the WC I don't see the Final to be an event where I would leave everything to sit and watch the match. But I do like Kiwis as well so will try and support them for the Final :thumbs

Although I hope NZ win the cup, i think that Australia will be the one to win IMO. NZ did just enough with the bat to win the bat and I'm not completely sure if their batting lineup can chase the likes of 300+. They have the bowling but their batting is what I feel will keep them back. Far too dependent on Williamson and Taylor even though Neesham and de Grandhomme have played some great knocks this tournament.
